It does take a while to get used to these kind of vocals and be able to pull the lyrics from first listens, I p much went through my entire discovery of these genres not even caring about the lyrics and just connecting with it purely for the vocal delivery and instrumentals because I couldn't pick em up first go 🤣 But, Vic is an incredible writer and they cover some really deep stuff so if you're interested defo consider having lyrics in a separate tab or on ur phone! Fav PTV album for me no question, and mi fav tracks are Dive In, The Divine Zero, Today I Saw the Whole World, Gold Medal Ribbon and Song For Isabelle. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at some of the guitar work towards the end, and more of an emphasis on melody and production! And yes, Vic plays the keys so even the electronic parts are sourced by the band in collaboration with their producers which is pretty cool. Seeing them next month in Sydney and apparently the pits have been deadly in the US for PTV recently bc of a new wave of TikTok fans so pray for my soul and wellbeing, y'all 😅🙏🙏 bonus clown explanation- "I only pray, when it all goes down, I'll be surrounded by all the ones that I've loved and cared about and then burn it down"

Thank you Nacho for this reaction video. This album came out when I was deployed for work in another country at 23. This album reminds me a lot about that experience. I listened to this non-stop for the next 3 years and still haven't found an album as good as this. I'm 30 now, married, and had to mature a lot the past few years. But watching your reactions made me smile cause I had the same reactions the first time I heard these songs. Each song has a unique style and you take time to appreciate it.
