i love this album so much! gold medal ribbon is my top off of here and it’s such a bittersweet back story, vic and an old girlfriend would go and eat gold medal ribbon ice cream every day after school but she eventually ended up passing away a few years later. also i mentioned this before but today i saw the whole world has an amazing music video that me and my friends recreated for our final in one of our classes!
definitely recommending selfish machines after this. you're gonna love just how wild they go on there compared to collide with the sky and misadventures despite my fav album being collide, selfish machines has my absolute favorite songs by them
My favorite album from Pierce the Veil is probably "Selfish Machines", I think you'll like it too if you feel like giving it a listen, I prefer that one to Misadventures but I like this one too.
Also, the song gold medal ribbon dies have a story, its about his girlfriend in high school who commited suicide during the making of the album, gold medal ribbon was her favorite ice cream flavor

l.s. dunes is a supergroup consisting of members of other bands: anthony (circa survive, saosin, the sound of animals fighting) frank (my chemical romance), tucker & tim (thursday) and travis (coheed and cambria). frank plays guitar in this band and the vocalist is an incredibly talented anthony green. the band was formed a little less than a year ago, and they have already released their first album past lives. the new single might be for the next album.
anyway, i love this band and everything they release. it's... post-hardcore, emo, punk rock... by the way, the name of the song (benadryl subreddit) appeared from a conversation between frank and mikey on mcr reunion tour. frank tweeted it yesterday
