Good morning, I enjoyed watching this video with my breakfast. My son's e-bike has rim brakes, but it doesn't look like an e-bike and the battery is hidden in the bike down stem. My saddle was very uncomfortable when I bought my e-bike, I looked at suspension seat post and my son suggested I use my old scooter seat. My old scooter seat has built in suspension. It worked and my e-bike is very comfortable. Thank you for this video 😎
I converted my Two Wheeled Recumbent to an Ebike, back in 2019. I use Rim brakes and you can get pads designed for Ebikes. I've never had to adjust mine, unless I install new brake pads. I do have the brake levers that will cut off the motor. But when I stop pedaling the motor stops, or when I let go of the throttle. I've never had a problem.
I like Redshift's seat suspension. They also make a handlebar/stem suspension system which would work if you can't change the forks (and is lighter and cheaper). Unfortunately, a lot of new e-bikes have built-in displays on the stem, which would prevent you using this.

Glad you found a solution to your bicycle comfort. Sounds like a good idea.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I learn something every day. I hadn't heard about the Shockstop suspension stem. Thanks for the info.
