CyCrown CycUltra is a full suspension electric bike with 9 gears on the rear cassette. This ebike features a Bafang brand 750 watt nominal motor with strong hill climbing ability and a top speed of 28 mph. For an ebike under $1500 your money gets you a good amount of features.
The 48v 15ah battery gives you solid range while helping to keep the weight of the bike in check compared to larger 20+ah battery packs that tend to bulk the bike up.
Fenders come at an extra cost, but at least you don't suffer the weight penalty of lugging them around if you're a fair weather rider like myself.

I love watching your no BS ebike showcases. You are quick and to the point,I know after watching all the important facts and details on how that particular bike operates. I then make a mental note whether I think it’s a piece of junk or I bike I would want to ride. I’m in the process of shopping for a replacement to my 4 year old Level and I’m strongly leaning towards the Wired I’m torn between the Freedom and the Cruiser do I really need their mediocre rear suspension or should I get the girls bike and add Cane Creek post and a fat seat, I might just wind up going heads or tails on that decision as it’s always worked half the time for me. It’s winter right now in the People’s Republic of New York so I must make a decision before the comrade’s in charge make it illegal to make your own decisions.

This isn’t a comment on this review it’s just a thought from someone that doesn’t know much about Ebikes. I’ve been a fan of your channel as I looking for a new bike. Here is my question I’ve seen in some reviews your weren’t getting accurate speedometer readings due to the wrong size tire size programmed in the bike software, I recall you going from 26 to 28 to correct the speed to Mach your phone. Now here is what I want to know if the bikes software cuts the power when you reach max speed can you fool it by programming in a smaller tire size. Hopefully I got that right and it’s not a larger tire size but it’s almost 3 am and I’ve been up since 7 am and I’m not think straight. I’ll check back for an answer keep up the beautiful videos

btw heard wd40 and a scrub pad can remove those burn out marks on your flooring it works to remove paint sometimes even.

See that's how a dual motor ebike is supposed to climb with the rear motor only, This looks like a nice bike, my only concern would be pedal strikes.
I'd be more excited about these in-tube batteries if they were a standard size across multiple brands. Once the battery dies you're SOL unless you can find someone to rebuild the brick for you.

Nice looking bike. I like the fact it has rapid shifters instead of the dumb thumb shifter. Why put thumb shifters on off-road bikes? I watch alot of your videos, good stuff. I decided to buy the Heybike Brawn after watching your videos. I liked it alot, except for the thumb shifter. So I put about 6000 or 7000 miles on it, then got hit by a car and the Brawn is totaled and my face too. So I have a question for you Happy, my battery is still good and I have two batteries actually so I noticed that the Cycrown appears to use the exact same battery and I know you're basically a expert with ebikes so do you happen to know what bikes out of your collection use the exact same battery? The Magicycles do but they're 52 volt systems and my batteries are 48 volt. I see the cases seem to be the same but I'm not sure about the length or width of the case. You've responded very quickly in the past and I'd like to thank you in advance for that and any other information. I have the two batteries, two motors, six sets of replacement planetary gear sets, and all the remaining Heybike Brawn parts on the bike. The frame was bent and the bearings in the headset were basically torn out of the frame from impact. Unfortunately Heybike is unable to sell a frame and I have to buy a whole new bike. So I like the looks of the Cycrown and it's a full sussy with 9 speeds and rapid shifter and I'd likely swap the cassette to a 40 tooth climber for my big rear gear. I like single-track and was doing it with the Brawn to a certain grade, then the hills were too steep with 7 speeds and a thumb shifter. I'd probably switch to a actual e-mtb with 27.5 or 29" wheels @ 2.5" but have 26" studded tires and regular ones too so my place is looking like a bike shop with no bikes. Keep making good content and I noticed you're riding to new locations which is cool because we the viewers enjoy the switch up.
As always your reviews are great. I can see the advantage of adding a 9th gear for a road bike, but does the 9th gear offer enough to minimize ghost pedaling in the high gear rangeon this E-bike? What was the number of teeth range on the freewheel cluster? Happy Riding🚴🏻♂ Thank you for your review.

On a separate note: I have not seen it when I searched your channel, but have you reviewed the Hanevear H100 dual motor folding bike? I just bought one, $1240 out the door price. Looking at the specs and everything on the bike in detail, the thing is worth far more than that, IMO in $2,000 territory.
It is a solid performer and the southern California distributor/retailer does NOT limit the speed, which is a nice touch. Out of the box I had it up to 33 mph on the San Francisco flatlands, and up Nob Hill, throttle only at 20 mph.

I wish it came in another color. I like this cuz I don't need fenders, turn signals, or even lights really and I want something that doesn't ghost pedal. Theres alot of branding I'm not a fan of tho

How do you think it would do with really steep hills? I'm trying to decide on a bike that can get me to and from work but there is one large hill I can't avoid coming home. Realistically I could just walk it up that hill but. It's rough.

In your area you'd definitely want 2 wheel drive. Most off the shelf 750w 48v bikes would be close to useless. Philodo h8 is brilliant for the money.

AND SO IT BEGINS! Legislation has been introduced in New Hampshire to classify any ebike THAT GOES OVER 15MPH as a regular motor vehicle and require registration, plates, licensing and insurance. And thats just the beginning. I've been warning about this for a year and YTers like this who post videos encouraging speeding, reckless riding and altering the safety protocols while aimed at teens are partly responsible. Look for similar legislation to be proposed in most other states over the next 12-24 months. A few Jeff Spicolis and 20%ers ruined it for everyone.

Interesting how you always end your ride with around half the battery pack left, funnily enough i end up with almost exactly 50% left after riding to work and then returning home which is 50.1v on my 52v 16.5ah battery. I ride 100% of my time throttle only on assist 5 and usually travelling at 30-35mph, no stops at all because I'm in the countryside. My display wattage readout is usually showing 1200-1450 watts and thats showing 50% after only 14 miles.
