How did you find the review? I'm likely going to try and do some more non-music related stuff just to add some variety to what I'm doing on the channel, but leave any questions and I'll either answer them or make a video about them! Thanks for watching :D

I’m on the hunt for my first drum machine and stumbled across this review. You have now convinced me! The video ended up being perfectly tailored to my situation! Thank you, easy Sub.

The 101 has a Instruction manual. Was this made prior to the DAW?
The 6s is great unit. Thumping deep beats. MPC1 with the 6s through a Pioneer mixer. No need for a pure Roland sound module. The 8s and the 6s are lone wolf wild rhythmic beat box.
    DOPE
    Nice Review.

afro it would be interesting to see what you think of the tr8s is it worth the up grade I have the 6s and love it

The biggest thing that stopped me getting the TR-8S was it’s size compared to the TR-6S. My alternative would’ve been a TR-08 so I had an 808 (almost) but the variety on the TR-6S makes it better value IMO
I also didn’t like that the TR-8S isn’t portable - I literally take my TR-6S to my friend’s house and work on beats there as well as at home.

Nice review!! I agree with you totally. I think pound for pound the tr6s is a real winner. Versatile and immediate with superb sound. Thanks for taking the sting out of rolling through the manuals! I think you should definitely invest in a mc101 its the same thing except a tiny roland synth power house. The random zencore tone generator on it makes it a must have!! Check out Ben Coes videos on all things mc101!

Thanks for the tip, I might do a bit of research into that!
I’m probably gonna get myself a Reface next to replace one of my small MIDI keyboards.

      @@afrohamurai honestly mc101 combined with tr6s is a monster!
