Yes a rear steer vid would be great! I'm about threw my upgrade, but want to she how it's supposed to be done. As always keep up the great videos and keep teaching my how to crawl with the big dogs!
Ordering parts for my Capra right now, thanks for the great breakdown Logan! I didn't even realize you had done as many talking-head style videos as you have, it's a fun style to see you do-very well done!
I just got an old new Capra, need to have 4ws on it. Pulled up the parts links and the steering links now come without rod ends on them. I hope to have all I need soon, to finish. Thank you for this video
Hey Logan! Great videos! I have an Axial Capra and because of your videos, I want to add rear wheel steering. I would love to see you make that video. Keep up the good work! Andy (New England Crawler)
Years ago I had an incredable EXCEED crawler with all the upgrades. Adding the 4 WHEEL steering was the best Mod made. I had the option to hit a switch and have the Rear wheel's steer in the opposite direction as the front. As I turned either direction, the rear wheel's would automatically turn in the opposite direction "without" having to continuously manually adjust the rear wheel's. This was the mode I drove in the most. Is this an option on this Capra. I'm not seeing it on any of these video's.
Great discription of the rear steer. Was watching some class 3 crawlers at scale nationals on Harley Designs and the rear steering those guys were so fast with both steering. You like it a lot more than dig?
Great video! Am trying to setup rear steer on my Capra so a video would be great. I am in your area so would love an opportunity to see your rig sometime
Thank you Logan, your videos have been so very helpful. My Capra build I put on some trx4 shocks with pen springs. It bottoms out and gets high centered regularly. I had brass on all four but removed the rear brass. Better, but still high centers always. Did the 2.2 tires help you in that regard? I'm very spoiled with a well tuned trx4 sport. Hoping to get the Capra as good, it just can't compare right now. Thanks friend.
Yes puh puh puh pretty please show how you did your rear steering mod! That would be awesome. BTW way, what's the part number for those trax links? Cheers, much respect!
Hi, great work, I have a question, i buy a new Capra 4ws Stock, now i would like to instal the flyscy gt5 transmitter but bcs im new in this hobby i don’t know how to instal it what to do with the receiver and seting up properly with my capra, would you like mby to make a video how you do it and the setting it up. Tnx ✌️
Good overview thanks. I recently picked up a Capra builders kit and loving it so far. I'm on the fence about overdrive as many folk have mentioned the Capra is geared too high so surely overdriving it would exaggerate that? I've been thinking about getting underdrive diff gears then maybe overdrive front portal gears. Do you BMX too? Spotted the Demolition sticker :)
@@westdesertwheeler great...thank you for responding! I’m coping your exact set up. I don’t have a lot of free time to experiment and I appreciate the work you do for me.
5:22 Thanks for the spring cup idea, I did this to mine and LOVE the way it works. Gave you credit (and link to the clip) in my video too! Maybe you'll get another 5 views or something 😆
Thanx!!! Nice driving in your vids! Trying to figure out how to use the rear steer on the potentiometer on my Futaba 7pxr....ugh. currently just using the 3 modes and having to switch through them........do you have the three modes and independent set up separately?
I think I would have extended the rear end and not the front so the weight of the entire car is moved forward rather then just the front wheels but that's just my thought
Great breakdown. One question. Do you think the Capra is geared to high? I have heard others say that it is geared to high. My daughter has a Capra that she build and I think it's geared fine for 1.9's however she has been hinting she might want 2.2's. Hahahaha crazy girl🤘🤘🤘👎
Rear steer! rear steer! Rear steer! And we don’t mean the back of a bull lol...but nice work next time rear steer a rift ...rear steer rift! rear steer rift! Rear steer rift!
You should check out the hobbyporter 007 radio its 7 channel the reciver is water proof and it has a crawler mode just for your 4 wheel steer its badass my friend GCMRACING done a review on it thats how I found out about it and there about 60$ bucks
Hey Logan, great overview of your Capra. Definitely would like to see a vid on how U did the rear steer..
Ask and you shall receive!! Thanks for the great informative breakdown. I was wandering why yours seemed to do so much better then my Capra.

Thanks a lot. Amazing job you have done there😄👍. I like your color choice too.
Please make the video for rear steering
Great video I’ve got that same transmitter and receiver brought a micro servo for the dig do you have a video on setting the endpoints
Have you considered running Traxxas link ends on the rear too? You would think it would help with hill climbs having more weight out front
I say weight but I mean more leverage

Did you change your shocks I was looking at the desert lizard shocks but I haven’t found much help online
Great Great video awesome meaningful tips that I can see work! I didn't hear you mention wheel weights or any kind of weights?
No weights

Great videos! What amp BEC did you buy?
Would like to see the rear steer video for sure
Great breakdown, thank you! Is it ok to put bigger tires on the stock setup with stock motor, etc.?
What servo are you using for dig? Not sure if i missed it. The reefs micro 99 is hard to find not on backorder so i am looking for other options
Like the input keep up the great videos
Another great video. You mentioned run times with those 1300 batteries. Was that 45-60 mins per battery? Or 2-3 batts
Each battery is 45-60 min
I definitely want to see the vid!

A good motor and esc combo with the 11t pinion and the gearing is no problem
does the rear part of the chasis hit the servo?
i think to cut the lower elbow of the chasis what do you think
Rear steer vid for sure 🤙
What servo horn are you using?
Yes do the rear steer video
It is out now. Search for it on my channel
Awesome 👏 😎
How much did it coast
Hello Logan does the axial Capria. Come set from the factory to run Lipo‘s or do I have to change that?
You can run 2S or 3S out of the box
Can you update this video with your current set up?
It’s still getting better so soon I will man!
Pretty cool build
Thank you 🤘🏼
Rear steer! rear steer! Rear steer! And we don’t mean the back of a bull lol...but nice work next time rear steer a rift ...rear steer rift! rear steer rift! Rear steer rift!
Let’s see that aws vid.
got an old bomber v1? compared too capra ?
Nothing similar about them except for the fact that they are both tube chassis. Extremely different trucks
Element springs do the same

I would love to know what settings you run on the hobbywing esc.
Well, full drag brake. Full servo voltage. Full reverse power. A slight punch delay. Pretty standard I think
😁😁👍👍
Yes i like your video
Cut the rear of the cage so you’re not riding on the servo🤨🤨
