If I ever visit Australia I think I'll make a stop at Lone Pine. It seem like such a nice place and I never heard about it before. Thank you for sharing!
Will second visiting Lone Pine. Only been there twice so far but am always happy to visit again and is a definite place to visit if you go to Brisbane (which you should - as it's a friendlier city then the bigger ones down south, but might be a bit biased!). SOD, not sure how long you're in town for but if you're about on the 18th, the good lady and I are down before our flight the next day and are staying around Roma St if you're about for a beer. Been watching your vids for years, least I could do is buy you a schooner or two.
Cute, cute, cute, kawaii, kawaii, kawaii! People think koalas are always so cute and cuddly, but they can really rear up and take a good chunk out of a stray digit or two. Cockatoos are smart as Hell, as well. I love Kangas and Wallabees. I'd love to pat a few of them. They always look like they want to cuddle, LOL. Those Kangas all lounging around ... so, so, so cute looking. I reckon one can lounge and lie around with them, and got a few good photo ops, too.
You can hold and take pictures with Koalas at Dreamworld as well but it is NOT cheap which is to be expected of a major theme park. Also holding koalas and taking pictures with them ect is allowed in Queensland however it is illegal in New South Wales so for people coming to Australia that want to just keep that in mind :) Im not sure about the other states.
I think I patted a kangaroo once when I was in Queensland when I was 10, I also got to pat a dingo, a tiger & hold a python, that was a fun trip ^^. We would also have big birds too if they weren't hunted to extinction (although they reckon there still might be some in dense forests), but the moa was apparently a nasty bird because it was a predator, so it was like it or be killed, a lot of them were like dinosaurs too (Dinornis novaezealandiae & Dinornis robustus breeds especially).
Wow. This is the ultimate. I feel like the little boy walking with the emu. What is the name of that other country? It started with a J, oh nevermind. Bye, bye.

amazing to see so many in the open uncaged. the way it should be for a sanctuary.
Your wife and son at timepoint 11:10, I'm guessing (??)
So cute your family looks!
Best Video I have seen!
I'm going to Australia. The lack of animals here in Toronto is killing me.
loved it ^_^
thank you for sharing with us non-aussies lol
what about snakes in australia? how often do you come across those? any particularly dangerous ones?:)
I think there's more than 1 pine there
Amazing!
I wonder if the park was called "Twin Pines" before someone mucked with reality.

The head of an Emu looks like the head of a punkrocker.
Cool, +1 to the Flying Foxes aswell...^v^
Thanks sillyolddude.
Haven't been to a zoo in yonks.
Well, pretty neat. Zoos give me fits but this place seems alright.
Australia is an interesting break. It would be fun if you would crank up your accent when you do the narration.

The film "Wake in Fright" has ruined kangaroos for me. I just think of the hunt scene when I see them:-/
