Rainbow Lorikeet on My HEaD?!! Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

The Koala Sanctuary was amazing! It really was amazing to have wild rainbow lorikeets so close. Each one of us watched them eating just inches from our faces. A few of us even had them land on our heads! It was unexpected, exhilarating, and exciting all at the same time.
This is our final video of the Koala Sanctuary videos. Located in Brisbane, the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is the perfect place to see kangaroos and other Australian wildlife. It is the first and largest koala sanctuary and has been around since 1927.
We also enjoyed the raptor bird show, the sheep dog show, and seeing the many different animals. It was a day we will always remember as we had so much fun!

They were full of bird seed mixed with water. The lorikeets loved it!

Lorikeets eat nectar so there is a powder you can get and mix with water that replicates nectar. It's got a lot of sucrose, proteins and vitamins, trace elements, etc.

That was a golden orb spider. They're harmless, and part of the food chain. We don't kill them for the sake of killing them because they're a spider. Nice vid and delightful family.
