Someone wants me to make a pair of fingerless mitts with the ruffle edge but I just couldn't seem to get this. Got tired of ripping out & re casting on. But at least I tried. Thank you. :)
I am SO appreciative of everything you have taught me, I think you are absolutely wonderful and such a gifted knitted. In this video I wish you would not call the binding off step a "yarn over." I understand what you are saying and doing, but to a new knitter, this would be very confusing as a real yarnover is wrapping the yarn around the needle. Thank you for listening.
I'm making a scarf with this ruffle as the edge. I started one end following this video and now I am stumped trying to do the reverse for the other scarf end. Please help! Thank you.
Could you share on how to make ruffle at the end of a scarf? I'd like to do a garter stitch scarf with ruffles at the end. I know how to do one at the beginning now thanks to you but not at the end.

Hello! I was just wondering why you slip every stitch you start with?
It makes a neater edge. I knit through the back of the last stitch for the same reason. Happy knitting.
