    I just received my order of Lionsteel knives. This is one of them. It is way better in reality than in pictures and videos. I am enjoying it so much.

    This knife is on my radar for some time now but your video actually convinced me to get it 👍

    Reminds me of the Les George 0900 ZT, which is great since it’s an amazing alternative since the 0900 was discontinued.

    Love this knife, it's a perfect size for an EDC blade. Liking the red aluminum. I really dislike any locks on folders but I really like the look of the lock cause it just looks like an over travel stop.

    Like you, I tend to favor larger blades. But this has really caught my eye, especially the eye-popping red. Good one LTK!

    I love the crowned spine on LionSteel knives.

    I've had slipjoints try to close on me. When you're carving wood sometimes you can cut too deep in the wood, and when you go to back the knife out it can get stuck in the wood, and pulls it closed. I've always caught the knife, and reopened it before it closed on my fingers though.

    I think that's a great looking looking knife which is surprising as I've never really liked lionsteel designs apart from the slip joints.thank you for showing this one of.i would like to see you do maintainance on it just for badness.lol.😜😂☘👍

    An accidental knife closing usually happens when you're cutting something when you can't see what you're doing and the tip snags as you pull the knife back out, like reaching behind a pallet stacked with boxes, inside a wall or inside a game animal being cleaned out, that kind of thing or trying to pierce something that takes force, like thick cardboard to start a cut. This is for slip joints, I've never seen the need for secondary safety locks.

    I wish these knives were not so slippery. They have always been. I’m sure knife collectors have been telling lionsteel since there fist frames with this texture.They must still sell a lot because they don’t seem interested in making it non slippery. This is the only fault with these knives. Great knife!! There is a reason they keep getting knife and manufacture of the year.

    Honestly I personally prefer the Spyderco Lil Lionspy over the SR22. I prefer the handle ergonomics of the Lil Lionspy over the SR22. Also I prefer the two scale/torx construction over the integral handle.

    1st: Love your vids & a subscriber
    2nd: bought a bunch of TwoSun knives because of your vids. (My favs)
    Question: why is the Para 2 always the comparison. I have one, & it’s not all that. Seems like many others think this knife is the best..... why. (Seriously, I want to know. - I have one.) Thanks!!!

    • @edrader
      @edrader 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      because we all own one so it lends a great visual perspective

    • @athomehack7789
      @athomehack7789 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ed rader / I get it, (everyone owns one - I do also) to use as a “comparison”, but most of the time, this channel in the past & others, currently, use this as a comparison, and most are not even the same metal, handle scales, weight, length & even design..... I’m guessing that this is the “staple” like Toyota Corolla vs any other car out there. (Durability, practicality, craftsmanship & longevity) I still don’t understand why people think that you need to use the Para 2 as a comparison.
      Many lesser ($) blades out there to use as a better match vs Para 2.

    • @edrader
      @edrader 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      for size comparison it's one of the top choices. i'm really surprised that you question this.

    • @athomehack7789
      @athomehack7789 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ed rader / Ok... gotcha. I understand now. Can’t wait to see you do a review. Where’s your knowledge to the rest of us?

    • @BrandonGavin_EDC
      @BrandonGavin_EDC 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@athomehack7789 it’s the comparison because everyone has one and can tell the size of the knife from it.

    Pretty sure the reason the lockbar is so stiff is because it's made of aluminum. Aluminum is not as springy as titanium or steel.
