Yeah, Doug takes cars seriously but he doesn’t take himself too seriously
I mean, I saw that a lot of people don’t like him, and it’s sad, because I am a big stan of daddy Doug.
My favorite thing about Doug is how blisteringly concise he is. That’s made his videos a massive success and is a key to his continued success. His tone tells you everything, while his words tell you the bare minimum, a rare and valuable talent in today’s world.
Doug is way better than any car review period. He is very entertaining. There is a reason why his C8 Corvette video has over 10 million views in less than a year. People trust daddy Doug more than any other reviewers.
Concise? He says everything like three times...

Chris Harris is a more matured racer and reviewer and will always choose a legit car for a challenge. Doug is a dorky, quirky guy who will pick a Pontiac Aztek because why not? Lol and Evan Shanks is also dorky but he's still young and will most likely pick a "hotboi" car because he's young and likes that shit lol

The Stellar is apparently based off a Mk5 Cortina, but body was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. I actually like it, the lines aren't bad a 80s vehicle, and it's RWD. I would buy one just for the cool factor and RWD. And it looks better than the Mk5 Cortina IMHO. They were made with the mitsubishi 4g6X and the later ones were made specifically with the 4g63. Hyundai back the was known for using 4gs in lots of things.

H3 Alpha: LS V8 with front and rear lockers and I believe center diff too which is pretty great for time period in which is was built. The T variant is reprehensible regardless of engine and drivetrain configurations.

Doug, I’m a HUGE fan of yours and watch all of your videos, but I’m shocked you forgot to mention the McLaren P1 GTR you reviewed back in December when discussing the fastest cars you’ve ever reviewed.
We had a Daewoo Leganza that we bought from an older guy at 200k miles. We finally let it go at 262k when it was damaged, but the motor was still going lol.

I made it! It's a Double RL "waffle" long sleeve shirt from like 2006, and I got a vintage cobra patch and sewed it, and a new york motor club patch on it.

I’ve actually seen a silver G Cab a couple years ago walking down a hill from a party in Hollywood. Saw a Spyker C8 on the same street. The G Cab had old school blue CA plates. I’ll try to see if I still have pictures and link them.
