A lot of these cars didn't meet US regulations & were never sold in the US
He knows the ones in Mexico as he asked Kennan to guess the Ford Territory. But I'm sure Filippo could do a challenge of getting Doug and Kennan to name European cars not sold in America, or cars from automakers not operating in America as a whole. That might be up Filippo's alley.
Dude, he's owned an R32, an RS2, an A class, g500 Cabrio....he knows plenty about foreign market cars.

Saw similar attitudes in Hoovie’s videos any time hoovie would mention a car he liked and Doug disagreed. Also the guy got the FXX and Doug was like “no don’t give it to him” dude it’s a game relax

Yeah, every new podcaster is copying Joe Rogan's condenser mic setup, but they are too sensitive and tricky for newbies. Majority of people would be better off with simple dynamic mics.
Better yet, deaden the space a bit and use a single mic.

I can't blame anyone who isn't a hardcore enthusiast for missing the Ferraris, McLarens, and modern Lambos. Most of the ones shown here look so much alike the average person can't even tell them apart, let alone identify the model name or number, and I include myself in that camp. Even Doug has complained in a couple of his McLaren videos there are too many special models and they're difficult to tell one from another. Anyway, kudos to Filippo for doing so well!
Exactly! As a person who loves cars, I'm at about the same level as Filippo. And it's because I'm not really interested in supercars. I know regular cars and sports cars but not these.
What would have been funnier is if they showed the 620r then the 600lt then the 570s then the 570gt then the 540c etc

The Lamborghini Veneno is better than all 3 of the “Holy Trinity” hypercars. Better than P1, La Ferrari, and certainly better than 918 Spyder!
Sesto elemento is definitely NOT based on the huracan.. it’s based on the Gallardo. The huracan was launched in 2014 while this was launched in 2011

I'm right there with you Filippo. I can tell give you a detailed breakdown of the trim levels of the last three generations of the Pontiac Grand Prix, but when it comes to supercars, unless it was featured on top gear, I've never heard of it.

The Espada is specifically the sword typically used in the bullfight to dispatch the bull...Lambos typically were named after famous bulls from the fights, hence the name.

I’m glad to say that I know more about normal cars than Kennan and more about supercars than Filippo
For special edition Lambos the Sesto Elemento has always been one of my favorites focus on lightweight ik it borrows the engine and possibly transmission from gallardo but the carbon tub and rest of the carbon body is pretty unique to it
Sorry guys, but the audio is so bad - the differences in loudness are unbearable - if you can't stay in the same distance from the mic, get dynamic mics, they are much less sensitive and more foolproof. Or at least try to equalize the loundess, every decent video editing software can do that.

Wait wait wait, the sesto (SIXTH) is based on the Gallardo and there DEFINITELY was a previous rimac, which was indeed called the concept one but was very real and Hammond almost died driving it!! Gumpert by the way is now called Apollo and they seem to be reasonably succesful with their extreme Intenza emozione and I believe they've also built the recent DeTomaso

They then started building Bugattis in Italy but everybody I know grew up thinking "Bugatti, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati...one great line" and then we learn that Bugatti himself was french but his cars are kinda not and it's just confusing😅

If you’re going for the blokey banter/teasing vibe as in classic Top Gear, you’ve got to keep some balance. Everyone gets to be teased a bit. Even Clarkson allowed himself to be teased by the others. The Throttle House boys each play the fool in turn. Here, it’s just Doug who is always right, and that becomes tedious when a whole video is devoted to him being better. Yet, we know he allows teasing in the comments (‘Doug is the kind of guy…’) so some of that spirit on film would be welcome.
Granted other than the Veneno and Gumpert, I was right on with what Filipino was guessing. I knew most but didn’t know those old Ferraris.
Doug and Kennan forgot about the 3rd 600 series McLaren, the best one, the 675LT.

It's to celebrate the end of life for the Gallardo back then, something Lamborghini always does.
