Awesome video. Surprised it doesn't have more views and likes. What books or videos do you recommend to learn as much as possible before private pilot flight school, aside from practice in x-plane?

Honestly, it depends which way you learn best but I would pick up the private pilot books from jeppesen or I really like Flym8’s free ppl training on his TH-cam.
If I could go back I would read up on aircraft systems, instruments, airspace and medical factors just off the top of my head. Next I would grab the oral exam guide off of Amazon to practice for your test.
As far as flying that’s the easy part but I would just study as much as you can.
I will be flying a bit more now and trying to record on my other channel so if you want to check that out I’ll link that. Lmk if you have any other questions.

Thanks for taking the time to create this video. Are you not supposed to turn the fuel pump off after priming?

You are, we do in the real planes as well, I must have missed that in this video!

After adding a 2 TB SSD to my computing rig, I loaded X-Plane-11 and DCS onto my games because I want to be an ace pilot after being a top racecar driver. How do you get that wide instrument view? thx for the vid.

@@HyperShift No surprised! Really great tutorial! I'm just starting out my PPL journey so this was very helpful to watch.

@@WesFang that idea was in the back of my mind because most of my knowledge came from flying in the real world. I don’t have many hours.. trying to reach 200 soon, but loving every second of it.
