Experience hiking, camping, and living the “van life” in and around Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah! This bryce canyon hike is called the figure 8 loop, and I attempt the hike the hoodoos program as well! After the hike, I make it to a shower (which is a big event when you live in a minivan conversion!) and I’ll show you a campfire meal while we enjoy some Utah camping. Utah rocks!

What is Beer in Beautiful Places?
Hi, I’m Maddie! Celebrating an outdoor adventure with a beer has been a long-time tradition for me, and I wanted to create a platform for like-minded folks to come together. In my videos, I cover all types of adventures and review beer! Topics include day hiking, kayaking, travel, thru-hiking, and life on the road. In short, if you would describe yourself as an outdoorist, outdoorsman, outdoorswoman, hiker trash, nomad, or dirtbag, come on along, this is the channel for you! Welcome and cheers!

Dang pal, you’re in the big leagues now! Congrats! This place was sweet. It’s, like, really lush but also sorta desolate at the same time. Thanks for sharing- also you’re spoiling us w these 2x/week uploads lol

Wow! Those places are beautiful. Maddie, you have become a Pro videographer. Look at you adding slow motion with sound, pop-ups (Pops, I'm everywhere), etc.. I'm so proud of you.

Congrats on the sponsorship. Great shots on that video! I only carry a small 6” cast iron frying pan in the Sienna but I also carry a carbon steel “camp Fire” carbon steel skillet. It’s much lighter and comes with a long handle for campfire cooking. I made a short one for stove top cooking as well. They heat up faster but are similar to cast iron. The advertisement for the large version says you can cook something like 3 chickens, 3 dozen eggs or 3 pounds of bacon! I also have several Rome Industries campfire cookers. The Panini press was my fav but one of my kids misplaced it after a camping trip and they are 2 or 3 times more expensive these days. Can’t wait to visIt those National Parks. When I was getting my national parks this winter I asked about the Seniors Lifetime Pass. I was sure you had to be a US citizen. The Ranger said no just over 62. Luckily I turned 62 last summer so I got a Lifetime Pass for $80. It’s also includes half price camping at their campgrounds (NFS etc). One of the best deals I ever gotten for under $100. Can’t wait to visit all the US National Parks. Take care and have a great week Maddie!

Way to hustle and get to the showers in time. Looks like too many people for me, but very pretty. I will probably scope out state parks when I go through there.

Oh my gosh, thank you for taking me back to one of my favorite places on earth. There is something SO magical about Bryce Canyon! I love it there and have been there twice, both times in February so due to snow, was never able to hike down into the canyon. I just saw it from the top. This was wonderful. Thanks so much Maddie for bringing us along n your hike!

😃 Greetings from Kuwait! This had some AWESOME footage!!! In the country of Turkey there are some exact similar formations! I can't recall the name...but that location is in a book called "1,000 places to visit before you die" (or something close to that)...probably not the best title.

Great footage! I just picked up an annual national park pass, they're free for veterans. Hope to see these canyons soon.
