We’ve been watching since you started the AT. We were sorry you got Covid and it took a bigger toll on you than hoped. I’m writing to tell you how much we’ve enjoyed watching the trips you, James, and your van have been taking . As always you do a great job capturing the scenery in a beautiful way. We hope you are continuing to see improvement with your stamina and overall health.
Living a long way from Bryce, I’ve only been there two times. It’s my favorite of all the Southern Utah National Parks. This brought back some good memories. Thanks!
We were at Bryce this summer, and it was the funnest place I have ever run. My wife dropped me off at Bryce point, and I took the Peekaboo Loop Trail North Loop to the "connector" that went to the Navajo Loop Trail. I wanted to see both sides of the Navajo, so I ran the full circle - with the fun switchbacks on the northern loop twice! It was worth it. Finished the run at Sunrise Point, then headed back to the cabin for a shower. I would go back to Bryce in a second!
This is a very cool adventure you guys are on I am thoroughly enjoying your travels! By the way, Mule's are way more sure footed than a horse....i love them....
I loved this video. I always wanted to ride and never could. And the 20 dollar campground. Where I live it is more like 50. Amazing views. I also got hives from my canoe tripping in July. Had red splotches all over my body. They would disappear and show up somewhere else. Thanks for this. It was a long wait but this has been one of my favorites. I wish the best to you Kelly and James.
I’m glad you find the elevation comfortable and Utah in general. Being from Utah I had to chuckle when you did the AP and commented on the elevation👍🏼. The dinner looked great with the variety of flavors. I could suggest searing the chicken before adding the other ingredients as the taste of seared meat is so great. It’s why bacon is so popular. Your wrangler was fun and flirty, 👍🏼👍🏼 it’s hard to reconcile the high desert with the idea of being arid. Have a wonderful time drive carefully 👍🏼
Horse dander in her eyes becomes Kelly, even if it itches. Shasta is a sweet and gentle mule and really worked hard. The food at the 'Pine Tree' looked scrumptious, especially the pie ala mode. I would faint if I was on the narrow ledges high up riding a mule. At least no one slipped.
We will never meet but you are such a sweetheart and I am so happy that you and James met each other on the AT. You two are a sweet sweet couple! Be safe!
Few years back I backpacked the back country at Bryce Canyon. Fun place... Also did the horse ride on the same loop. Did they all stop on that same corner and pee? You need a curly hair horse, they are hypo-allergic.
It's fun seeing this beautiful canyon from your perspective on mule. It's such a contrast from what would have been the PCT hiking experience and all the efforts that would have been made by now on that. Ever wonder; Where would you guys be? How many days in? How would it all be going? 🙂
@@kellyhays23 thanks for responding. I'd be too. You've shown us how much prep and planning and effort goes into it. And you gave max effort, twice, actually three times. I count the cone back from covid as two😁. Thanks Kelly.
@@kellyhays23 Praying for the two of you to have the opportunity to try the PCT again! It looks like if you were there now you'd be detouring around fire closures (Kyle was pretty bummed about that in his most recent video).

Hey Kelly, great vid, and your laugh when your mule was playing catchup was contagious!
Wow! Views are so much better on horseback than just the walk thru I did several years back. Thanks for sharing and safe travels.
You guys are having the best adventure ! Loved this video.
We did that same ride on the mules about 5 years. One of our favorite memories. Would do it again in a flash. Fascinating park.
Beautiful Park, Awesome Weather, and you owned the campground - enjoyed this, thanks!
I've always wanted to ride a mule
Beautiful views, loved every minute you guys.
Woot woot it's our girl Kelly Hayes back with another 💥💥💥💥💥👊🏼

Awesome, I’d love to do that!!
I love peek-a-boo loop!
I thought Bryce Canyon was one of the most amazing places I have ever seen and I live in New Zealand!
I want to do this! Bad! And it's a lot easier than thru hiking and you probably eat better too.
This video was amazing!!
Beautiful campsite!
Thanks. That was so much fun!
👍🙂🙏
Those views were majestic ! Shasta was a good girl for you!

We think about it and talk about it almost daily. We wish we were back on trail so bad

What a great video.
Hey guys, GREAT VID....those VIEWSS!!!!
I own 10 trailriding mules we ride trails in PA
Great video, I've only been on a horse once. And I live in Montana. The girl on the horse with me fell off and broke her arm.
Glad the two of you are doing well. My wife, her cousin, his wife & their son have Covid. My wife and I are vaccinated but no one else is.
Are you ready to do the PCT on horseback?
Mules are better on the trail than horses. I believe mules are smarter than horses. It looks like you got the best ride.
I'm in cedar city ut
I may be an illusion Houdinied up during editing but it always looks like Kelly just barely chews her food.
I would Never ride a horse - that hadn't asked me to.
Hi have not seen u for awhile
Need to be careful with left over rice can give a vicious food poisoning.

Beautiful...
What kind of cam/mount are you using? I am heading there in a couple weeks and am doing the ride. can't wait. Mules are great alpine partners.
Skønne billeder. Klar til en skøn hest og uf i eventyret.
