Oh there's definitely a few who are serious. Back in the day we grew out of pretending to be cats and dogs as young children, then the furry subculture took off but most sane "furries" knew it was just a hobby, fantasy really. But once the gender woo took hold and gripped young minds many of the type of kids who would've just been furries cosplaying at conventions decided, "no, I AM a cat." After all, if you can demand to be called by cat pronouns or fairy pronouns, isn't that tacit agreement that you are one?

When I was 5, I told a teacher I was a mermaid. She just laughed and said "ok". But when I went to her because other kids were making fun of me, she explained that I'm not a mermaid and while it's good to have an imagination, it's important to know what I'm not.

So, using the same logic, if you suddenly identify as a cat then you ARE a cat. Cats don't have jobs, drive cars, have mortgages, etc. If you ARE now a cat you are no longer a human. If you are no longer human, you can't go to school, get a job, have a bank account/driving licence/mortgage, draw a pension when you retire, etc. Can you see how that would affect everyone around you? And you can't say you are still human but only identify as a cat otherwise you would also have to say that a man who identifies as a woman is still a man but only identifies as a woman.

Then, they conflate gender and personality. Then, they conflate gender and gender roles. Then they conflate gender with sexual preference. Then, they conflate males with females, fact with fiction and men with women.
A woman isn't a personality, a social construct, a feeling, or a costume that a man can just put on or take off-- She's an adult, human, female. As it turns out, there's a prerequisite to being a woman-- and that's being born female.

My son in year 7 has told me a girl in his class has changed her gender 16 times with the teacher going along with it every time and the school year isn’t even over. I heard the actual recording of this and was horrified. There were 2 girls who argued politely and calmly and the stupid teacher used her power to try and punish the girls. She should have been sacked. Monstrous.

Its quite sad to hear a young child using perfectly good reasoning skill to express their views and a "teacher" who should rather be called an ideological commissar forcing her ideology down the child's throat and threatening disciplinary action if the child does not conform even going so far as to demean the child's worth by calling them despicable. It's an example of a total loss of adult authority which the brighter kids are quite rightly taking advantage of. In my last school there were two 'transitioners', whatever that was supposed to mean, and the staff 'respected' the girls' 'decisions', and that without their parents even knowing. In Spain under the new 'trans law' a teacher can be fined 150,000 euros for going against a child's 'wishes'! The only way out of this lunacy is that parents play a full role in their child's education. In 1993, I recall my PGCE course tutors saying that 'blackboard' was 'racist'! Teacher education colleges need to be closed down!

Parents have a VETO RIGHT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT THEIR CHILD! As a parent, I would be raging mad if things were kept from me about my daughter. I conceived her, I gave birth to her, I am in every step right there with her and for her so absolutely no teacher will ever take precedence over me and my husband!
