Crosswind landing attempt at Seychelles International Airport

Emirates plane tries to land at Seychelles International Airport in strong windy conditions.First and second attempt failed! The flight was later diverted to Mauritius.

impressive :) a bit windy there, greetings all the way from the Caribbean, i never new around these islands until Seychelles minister of tourism made a visit half way across the world to my island in the Caribbean St Kitts :)

please note , that if there had been a crash , the International Airport would be shut down entirely. There's only one airstrip , not the regular two that we see in most newer airports elsewhere

Funny enough, i was just reading about in the paper this morning.
I would assume that Seychelles has a lot of similarities to St Kitts, in terms of culture and geography. The only caribbean islands that i've visited is Cuba.....simply stunning! Fell in love with the old architecture.

Wow! I've never seen anything like this, but I have heard about it. I'm from Seychelles and my husband is from Mauritius. Am off to Seychelles next week and hope this doesn't happen - and am going on Emirates too . . .
