I wish I could like this video for every time I've used it. This cast off, and using the pen shell to help guide have helped me out so much just starting out
mikey, I just used your method to take my project off of an S-Loom. It works so much better than the method i used on my first blanket on that loom. Thank you so much.
Thank you for helping me. I stop looming because of these kind of details that make me crazy and frog projects I do. But now I got a helpful video that is slow and I don’t have to make the video slow to see how to do it. Woohoo. Excited. I can fix my project on the double knitter now. Yay. Only thing I need real help with is making the sides of the double knit look the same from start to finish it gets confusing when I put the wip down and pick it back up again. Ugh. Please help. It is so craY to frog because I see a mistake. Help.
This is fantastic thank you! I’m currently working on a project where I’ve skipped pegs to create a distressed look but I can’t figure out how to finish and cast off, I was hoping to use the stretchy method you’ve shown here I’m just unsure how I’d proceed with the skipped pegs-- any advice would be greatly appreciated please and thank you 🙈
You did not wrap the third peg, so I was going on what you were showing. At the end of my cast-off, I did not have any stretch, so the ends of my scarf are different!!!!!! Who reads the comments before they watch the video?????????
I have done several projects and each and every one has been tight on the end. I use a "stylus". I try VERY HARD to make sure my yarn is the same tension throughout. Yet, I am tighter on the end each and every time... very frustrating as I crotchet and never have this issue. I enjoy using the loom DURING my project. I just need to figure out EXACTLY what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🙂
Correction. On the 3rd peg, I should have wrapped the peg before moving it over. Just in case you noticed that.
Thanks. I thought I was crazy the first few times...🙃
Yeah, I have noticed that. Thanks for ur correction.
I did this for a scarf project and the end came out so well! Thank you so much!!

Thank you for your support. Just hitting it once is just a good. :)
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you 😊

Create more relaxed loops in the casting off.
@@TheCrochetCrowd thank you!!

I'm sorry. I cannot tell from my desk why it's not working from you. The yarn should be coming from the ball without tension. I'm unsure why it's not.
I used the tutorial and I ended with no stretch :( what did I do wrong?
I'm not sure. I cannot tell from here.
i figured it out, I wasn't doing the second e-wrap :)
It appears on the third time showing you do it differently
