What size Crochet Hook are you using. I’m in the process of a project and want to try this Bind Off. Did another project and the Bind Off didn’t turn out good at all. Hope your way works. Just need to know what hook size you are using.
I like the loom you have - what brand is it ? The one I got (My First) is "Boye" loom kit and the grooves on the front of the pegs are so narrow it barely fits the hook in it to cast the stitch over the peg - Very annoying. Would like a better set with a wider space for the needle.

Didn't work for my leg warmers, turned out way tighter than the other side and couldn't wear. Had to make some changes

Mine were a little tight as well but I realized I was just doing this method too tight so records the end I made sure not to pull the loop too tight
