    Nicest driving SUV I've ever rode in. People love it from my experiences with them. They are reliable, peppy and powertrain is very smooth and refined.

    I usually dont leave comments but i just had to share my opinion, the mitsubishi endeavor is built like a tank,super reliable,cool looking,very very comfortable,very very powerful v6,one of the smoothest suspensions out there, this guy obviously still lives with his parents and probably got denied financing somewhere, to all of you who own one of these vehicles 2004 and up, congratulations you scored, and to the "guy" that uploaded this video, dude find somethin else to do, you have no clue on how to do reviews

      Those who purchase an Endeavor scored purchasing one of the most underperforming, underwhelming, underpowered, & unrefined vehicles in the segment which holds one of the worst resale values for the reason that it saw little to no improvement since introduction & failed at being ideal over any of it's competitors other than having a rock bottom price when used which can make it an ideal car for those who want something late model by age for literally nothing. It's every example why the iconic brand that is Mitsubishi, failed & it's a shame because they can make something great like the Evo, yet they gave it the worst interior possible.

      ***** Have you even driven this car before? I drive a 2004 and "underperforming, underwhelming, underpowered, & unrefined" is the complete opposite of my experience. And I'm not just saying that because I haven't experienced any other vehicles in this segment. I frequently drive my mom's 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee which is one of the best SUV's in the class, so I am definitely not sheltered. In terms of the Mitsubishi Endeavor though, it was a great performing crossover/SUV when it debuted in 2004, and it still is. The driving experience is extremely engaging for a midsize crossover/SUV weighing over 4000 lbs, and at the same time it rides very well. And if you've actually driven a Mitsubishi Endeavor, then I cannot understand how you could call it underpowered. Even with a 4 seed automatic, there is always plenty of power, thanks to the abundant torque that comes on strong at a low rpm. I can agree that it can be unrefined at times, as it is somewhat loud at highway speeds, and the interior is dated for a 2011. However, keeping in mind that mine is a 2004, it is much more acceptable, especially considering that mine has over 200 000 km (125 000 miles) on rough Manitoban roads, and has absolutely no squeaks or rattles. While I understand that this video would be pointless without you expressing your opinion, you come off as being very biased, with no interest in seeing the many great features of the car.

    • @Intechdude300
      @Intechdude300  10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've driven over a dozen of them actually and yes that was years before I made the video. A few of which had to be driven for hundreds of miles.

    I have driven an endeavor before and I gotta say I like it.
    The reason Mitsus have bad resale value is because there was a scandal in Japan about a cover up on information about known defects for some of their cars. But none of those cars were sold in the US and the issues were limited in thri trucks product lines.
    Mitsus scored better in crash test and quality overall than some competing toyotas (Toyotas scored less than Hyundais in some cases) and on par with their honda counterparts.
    I do not mind buying a mitsu becuase they are the biggest bang for the buck especially because of the resale value. People being stupid is actually my gain.

It wasn't bad looking from the exterior back then but it is quite dated now. the interior looks so cheap that it looks like it would be from even earlier! Mitsubishi definitely isn't the first name to come to mind when anyone thinks of Japanese cars and this is the type of vehicle that just screams "coming to a rental agency near you" when it first comes out.

      You do everything whether if you like it or not! And one may state facts, views of the majority, & or personal opinions which I'm certainly entitled to even if viewers agree with them or not. My assumption is that most viewers understand that concept ( a very reasonable one ) & not just blast away insisting how I should make a video simply because some viewers don't want to hear what may possibly be truth or difference of opinion.

    • @ScenicMirage
      @ScenicMirage 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right. You're entitled to your opinion, but what you did here in your video was make yourself sound condescending with some of the remarks you made. The Mitsubishi Endeavor was not made for just you. The fact you mentioned specs such as dents, and scratches on the vehicle made it seem like this was the fault of Mitsubishi Motors. The vehicle is in fact used. It has 18,000 miles. So stating dents and imperfections is irrelevant in making your argument which was mostly your personal opinion. Which was what this video was mostly about. You vaguely mentioned the specifics, but then quickly roll back to your opinion which doesn't make you sound credible at all. You should re-title your video 'My Distaste of the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor' to save many people the trouble because what I came to see was specifics, not a rant. I'm also assuming other people came to see the same. Hence the large majority of negative feedback on your video. I'm trying to help you out.

    • @Intechdude300
      @Intechdude300  10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Scenic Mirage Everyone knows where scratches, dents, or whatever damages come from. Most who watch this video are viewers from overseas who are more accustomed to far lower quality, unrefined, & inexpensive offerings & view the Endeavor as a very special & premium made vehicle. At least here in the U.S., it never was except to those who believe it's beautifully engineered like a Lancer Evo when it really isn't, especially when compared to other crossovers. Call it a rant video if you like, but I have no regrets with what was said 2 years ago! It was outdated, unrefined, & uncompetitive models like this that helped Mitsubishi fail here in the U.S. which to me is unfortunate since they have potential up their sleeves to do far better.

  • @Pedal2TheMetal
    @Pedal2TheMetal 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Lol yea. They have done right in a few cars using the aggressive corporate grill from the Evo on some of their SUVs and the Outlander Sport is actually a really nice looking car, however, they REALLY seriously need to improve their interiors. They are just so bland and simple. If Mitsubishi gets it together and starts making better cars they could brighten up their future a little bit. lol

    Nothing helpful was said in this review. It looks cheap...compared to? I had an Audi A4, looked nice. Now I have an Endeavor. Which do I trust to take me across country and not break? (Not the cute little Audi)
    I also have a Chevy Trailblazer. Also a basic but rugged design. Mine lasted almost 270K miles before any trouble. Who cares if it has an old school start up as long as it starts every time. Keep your pretty little cup holders and vanity...mirrors, when I go camping off road 10 -20 miles off the main road I don't want to worry about breaking an axle or something silly because there was a chuck hole or unseen rock.
    The only thing I don't like about the Endeavor is it uses a timing belt instead of a timing chain. fairly costly design but almost everyone uses them these days. Even your fancy upscale auto makers.

    2011 Endeavor AWD (15 mpg City - 19 mpg Hwy), 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 (15 mpg City - 21 mpg Hwy), 2011 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 (17 mpg City - 21 mpg Hwy), 2011 Ford Explorer AWD 17 mpg City - 23 mph Hwy). So it's one of the worst in it's class in terms of fuel economy. All said wasn't complaining but fact & calling me an asshole is actually a compliment :P

      I just bought one with the same miles when you bought yours. When did you change the timing belt? I just worry about that part, especially if I plan to get to 222,000 miles. thanks!
