Trust Ford for shooting their own foot. They shouldn't have exited at first place. Ever increasing Fortuner price meant there was always a place for this competent SUV.
They just can't bear looses of hundreds of crores and wait for years just to sell one suv in India! A lot goes into running such a huge organisation and very easy to give your vedict out of nowhere
@brendon6535 There is a difference between trimming and exiting. They needed trimming of the product line, narrowing focus on niche segments. They chose the ultimate route. No business-No challenges.
@@brendon6535not just one SUV, remember Figo was once among the best sellers. But they didn’t improve or update anything on it. Should’ve been more competitive n inline with customer needs n wants. Renault case is very similar. They got a winner in Duster but never updated it properly. Lost market to Creta without even competing.
Ever increasing price of fortuner,, what do think a brand who left india and increases the price on parts during maintenance will be able recover it's brand value again in india, no matter what Ford endeavour will never succeed in india market.
The endeavour was always called the Everest globally, I found it interesting they changed it coming to India (especially considering the connection we’d have to the Everest name)
Man this looks soo good. Being an EcoSport owner this feels like a dream upgrade. But hopes of owning it are low since it'll be a CBU and the pricing will be premium for sure. But what a lovely looking SUV 🥹
No wonder you find very less Aspires and Figos out for sale in used car market. Very few who opt out for more premium cars sell them. I got myself figo16 petrol and in love with it. Trust me, only the ford owners understand it well.
when the Everest is launched in India, we hope it'll incorporate the attributes detailed by you in this video . . . the Everest 4WD could do with a proper 2.0 in. suspension lift for enhanced off roadability . . .
@KumarSagar yes Nepal, imported from Thailand. Ford is already testing it in India they could let reviewers review it in private track but they won't as release window is far.
Would certainly buy it if it comes to India, Ford cars have great drive dynamics, with solid build and solid reliability at a good price point, had a Ford fiesta 1.6, just loved it, drivewise it was a budget BMW. Felt bad for them when they left India, there may have been many contributing factors, most important being making cars which we Indians buy.
This will be a runaway hit. Perhaps they should look at a Hybrid Diesel with a big engine and the necessary 4X4. It will be an extremely competent vehicle. Look at the fit and finish! What Quality! Seriously, Fortuner has been taking Indian consumers for granted for too long.
Wish they come back for good. Stay forever. Their cars were damn good. Have top end ecosport with me. Will change after a total 15 years life only. Wish they launch ecosport too. With more features added like wireless charger, wireless android auto apple carplay, rear ac vents and of course sunroof. And that front F O R D LETTERS grill.
They come and go as they please...leaving customers in the lurch. I have no idea what their strategy is. But trust is important for even basic purchases...
For all the fans of endeavour, it is making a comeback but the thing is india will cbu units and it will be an older model of endeavour, unfortunately the newer models will not available here.
Overall, Elegant Beast 👍 Only that conventional stick antenna on back of the roof spoils the design language. Should have been like in the Range Rover - shark fin type with an integrated RVM.
Its indian faaaaartooner mentality paying 60 lakhs for hydraulic steering..... People in india don't realize value when later company goes off they they will say what a car ford was... At that time ford suv was highly equipped with technology that till now new fortuners don't have updated technology... Fortuner hydraulic steering truck interior no 360.... Ford Gloster are full big size suvs.... Other brands like kia and huyandai also have big size suvs but they won't come due to indian faaaartooner mentality....
Ford has good cars, but unfortunately their outlook towards India was not realistic. I owned the Josh machine and it was a great car, the Figo was wonderful, the Mondeo was amazing, but they seemed to have lost focus, i still have the EcoSport with all its issues with the automatic gearbox. I fail to understand why they left India. It was a bad decision they need a more India focused management which launches car for the youth market of India at the right prices. The Mustang was a loosely thought launch, get the right management and they can really compete!
It is manufacturing in chennai so we can expect 36-40L ex showroom for the base and it will take 1-1.5 yrs to get all the permits and the plant to function and produce. Ford started their operations in march/April as per the media reports it will be out in next summer
The tyres are too narrow for something this large. Braking performance must be awful. Braking performance must be thought about as a safety feature contributed to by size and width of tyres/wheels and drum brakes should be illegal in 2024
they will mostly bring it as a CBU. it will be much more expensive than the fortuner. The carnival was 30L when launched. Now the new gen is double the price due to it being CBU. looking at how skoda priced their superb i wouldn't be confident about it being under 50L.

EVEREST ❎ ELEPHANT ✅
Cheers🎉, ford should come back with all of its existing portfolio- Endeavour, Ecosport and freestyle

If it was reviewed in India I would think it will be launched in India soon but I am not gonna hold my breath and will get hilux or fortuner instead
this is in Kathmandu

Best part of the review was Mr Shapur’s sketch. Ours truly has an artistic side as well 😂❤
Nothing better than driving this beast.. I wish they launch thr V6 petrol as diesel norms are getting strict day by day..
I owned a Ford IKON, and the Endeavour is my dream vehicle. Waiting for it.....
They should bring Ford Mustang, Ranger raptor.. soo many ppl will buy.. these are dream ford cars for many
mustang will cost upwards of 1.5 cr now. It was already 80-90L when it was sold here in.
Bronco too
munde sitaraman taxes so much that these cars will be priced very highly.
Wo toh theek hai...par budget cars bhi nikalo ...11_15 lakh ki range mein .. ham jese gareebon ke liye
damn right 😅

"Don't Do That. Don't Give Me Hope"
so much better than fortuner and that too with a good reputation and worth every penny
When Is it coming to India plz clear???
Story telling is very slow, watched In 1.25 x speed, could do better
Everest is goat in body frame setup
A worthy competitor to Fortuner is need of the hour.
woww finally there
Such a gorgeous and a real SUV
A bit skeptical about the Everest. It may sound or look promising, can it deliver?
Much better than Fortuner. , let it come to India Toyota monopoly should end as it doesn't have any competition in that segment

Fords major problem is cost of service & parts.. expensive to maintain
The Beast has arrived again, and this type of Car is Ford Territory and Build an solid car, it should also Relaunch Eco sport also
do you think it will launch in india
Manual 4x4 diesel would be sure shot hit
What would be approx price?
welcome ford, waiting more in portfolio.
Ford is the one company that after failing twice dosent understand the Indian market😂 They are going to hot the third time mark with cbu only cars.

Is it possible to buy ford in nepal and drive it to india then register in india?
It is but u need to pay tax more than the the car price
@Pr55-oc7ze ohh what if we don't register and use it with Nepal registration. I have seen couple of cars with Nepal registration in Delhi
I love it
