    Great to see. Australia's Learmouth base is less than 5500 km from Kochi. - I'm sure you crews would be welcome to come on a flying visit - Learmouth, Perth or Darwin. Lets hope someone reads this and puts out the invitation.

    These three missions were on 3 chock points, which so far has only been discussed by Indian Navy in public. IAF's demonstration of power around these choke points showcase a new dimension for future preparedness of our forces and defense planners. Very impressive indeed to see such long range and high endurance missions. Kudos to the IAF pilots and everyone involved.

    the pilot endurance you mentioned was indeed the highlight for me, going at non stop for 7 hrs at avg speeds of 800 kmph is amazing. Ofcourse the whole support system and force multipliers like the refuellers etc...top notch. Thanks to all of them for that, and you for reporting on this to us. 🙏. Jai Hind..Jai Bharath!!!

    For anybody who was questioning why 🇮🇳 need Aircraft carriers if we have Andaman Isles and Maldives ( friendly support )
    👆🏽 is why , Deep Ocean power projection and a different game , uncommon for IAF to send couple of formations to drop ordinance.
    We need Carrier borne AWACS supporting our MIGs , Takers hovering from mainland , but Fighters have to be from the SEA.

    1. Both Indian Navy and Indian Air Force deserve heartfelt congratulations from the nation. They have displayed their capability and mettle to the potential adversaries and the friends. What has been achieved is something absolutely first time and all the veterans of Navy and Air Force must be feeling proud of the achievements!! 2. After 2020 Galwan mistake by Xi, Modi seized the moment and let the three services to do their best as they wished. We must thank Xi for all the initiatives Modi took after Galwan incident. Of course, the ground work since 2014 since the days of Parikar helped build up the capability which was ready to take off anyway!! While political leadership took strategic decisions, the Forces delivered their best!! Jai Hind. Ghosts of 1962 have been fully exorcised finally.

This is the likely reason that best of US weapons in others hand not perform that well.

    Nitin fantastic insight into 3 exercise my only critic is the type of aircraft and base of operation .
    I cannot understand why the Boeing P-8 Poseidon maritime aircraft by the Navy which is ideal for this operation was not used which has offensive weapons against warships and submarines .When your fighting in a maritime environment submarines play a very important role and can be miles away from its home base lurking close to enemy defence . Sukhoi MKI and Raffles do have capabilities to take down ships and aircrafts but not submarines . Would have been a good exercise also to integrate Navy and Air Force Air operations .
    Raffles took off from Hasimara a base in North Bengal below Bhutan primary role is to guard the border between India China to a ocean operation .Would it not it be more wise to operate from a base in Andamans Southern India Sulur unless objective is to test endurance of pilot and aircraft on a 7 hour flight .
    The work of a military fighter pilot is often described as long periods of mind-numbing boredom interspersed with short periods of stark terror. While there is hyperbole on both ends of this statement .

    • @futureprenur9594
      @futureprenur9594 ปีที่แล้ว

      What's your qualifications to comment on this ? Bdw fyi ... Hasimara base houses one suad of rafales and in future will be hosting a total of 36 rafales in just one airfield alone so using 3 rafales won't compromise India's security as even at chock points if they used their aim would be to project power and remind china that ior is India's backyard 😍

    • @mig882001
      @mig882001 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@futureprenur9594 I know what are my qualifications also know the strength of Hashimara, my question is nothing to do with Hashirma Airbase in fact Eastern command airbase in Bagdogra North Bengal & Tezpur Assam would adequately be able to cover it - It's the distance covered makes sense to fly such great distance when they are closer airbases to Malacca than Hashimara .Read my reply correctly before you shoot your reply on a form

Recent clearance of 31 MQ9 was also surprising as even with high prices high number has been cleared.

    “If we lose the Air, we lose the war and lose it fast” : US Air force slogan. However, despite unmatched air superiority, the US lost in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria & perhaps everywhere.
    The air superiority is necessary to destroy enemy beyond the frontlines on the land & the sea hitting troop concentrations & supply lines. However, all the wars must end with net territorial gains which determines the outcome at negotiations.
    The role of army specially mechanized infantry for rapid & secure occupation of enemy territory and holding on to that territory must be the ultimate aim which the airforce must help to achieve. That will also decide the outcome of any future warfare as now seen in Ukraine War.
    The Ukraine War has changed dimension of modern warfare. Loitering munition, armed drones, UAVs to guide artillery fire to prevent enemy gaining more ground & efficient anti-missile defense to secure own territory have become the frontline aims. No wonder, the US is now willing to sell GE414 to India as unmanned aerial warfare is becoming an important corollary to manned air war fare.
    With missiles having range 250Km & beyond carried by modern fighter aircraft (Brahmos has 300km range), even manned air warfare has reached well beyond visual range domain which can sanitize a very large area especially with air refuellers . However, the war must end with sizeable territorial gains which must be the ultimate aim.
