Great video! I have a question: are your arms fully extended in the first portion of the backswing--just before the club reaches parallel to the floor? I understand that there is bending in response to the hands hinging with the club going over the acromion. The reason I ask is that your camera is rather zoomed in at the 2:40 mark, so I cant see the rest of your arms. Thanks!
Michael, at address the right arm (upper arm)is adjacent to the right rib cage, the left arm and forearm are extended. When the club arrives at parallel on the backswing, the arms are in the same configuration (i.e. right arm adjacent to your right rib cage and left arm extended). At address you can imagine that your arms and club form a capital "Y". That "Y" configuration is preserved from 6 o'clock (address) to 9 o'clock (parallel in the backswing).
@@edlebeau6763 Makes sense! So once we get to the 9 o'clock position (parallel in the backswing) we then start to disrupt that "Y" configuration" by hinging the wrist, correct?
@@MichaelR1027 Make the swing VERY VERY slowly. As you pass parallel on the backswing observe the forearms and the shaft. You will see that the "Y" is preserved when seeing the forearms and the shaft. As the swing progresses the wrists will hinge and now the leg of the "Y". Thanks Ed, love this!
Good video, I'm going to give it a try.
Bill, let me know your experience. Remember, the 20/20 rule--20 min of practice for 20 days.

@@edlebeau6763 Great! Thank you so much. That video you referenced is very helpful. I'll be sure to save it for future reference.
Is your pants mad at your shoes?
That is a puzzling question. Please explain. I'm interested.
@@valuemgr125 Thanks for the explanation. His comment went right over my heard.
