I love old mods that are chaotic and unbalanced and could never be in vanilla.
Just from the thumbnail alone, this helped me find my favorite mod as a kid (More Creeps and Weirdos)!! All I could remember of it was the giant lollipop man, the big baby (and the bouncy castle it generates in), and the lawyers. The latter was extremely fun to harass, and the overall mod was good chaotic fun on those late summer nights.

Disco mole has haunted me for years. I'd watched a random video from a minecraft playthrough that had more creeps and weirdos on the mod list, but had watched it while sick so for the longest time I thought that thing was some kind of really surreal fever dream. So nice finally knowing that was, in fact, 100% real. That mod will always hold such a special place in my heart

Duuude clay soldiers was one of my favorite mods years ago! I remember using it with a shrinking mod and a mod that let you make tiny blocks so I could roleplay as a tiny war general leading my tiny army to battle! That was a blast!

God i miss the Aether, i remember buying minecraft after playing it at friends for a while and i got this mod.
It was like playing the basegame for the first time again, i got one of those moa birds as a mount, always kept it close to keep him from despawning.
Until one day he fell of the edge and never returned :(

This is a really excellent video, really expected it to come from a larger channel. Clay soldiers, elemental creepers, and the Aether were all mods I played as a kid. I've gotta ask though, what video editing software did you use?
Man I miss More Creeps and Weirdo’s. I loved the aliens, the Dig Bug and the Florb/Fleeb/Glorp/Glorb/Glorf (I don’t remember the name but it’s the purple tree eating monster thing, that has a name similar to the five I listed) and the guinea pigs in that mod. My big brother took a liking to the giant G, and he sometimes even does an impression of it quoting all the G words from it, as an inside joke between me any him. Lol
the TNT mod is cool. love that one with all the different types of TNT
