Glad someone talked about Hypixel's adventure maps. They actually ran 4 player co-op versions of them on his server up until like mid 2013 early 2014 or something. It's how I completed Herobrine's Return all the way through. It's one of the few vivid memories I had on Hypixel.
I loved playing Hypixel maps on the server because I couldn’t figure out how to download them normally. I would play with random people into the early hours of the morning and have so much fun 🥲
those adventure map co-op minigames were something different, it was really fun and if you got lost there was always the guy that knew the entire map like the palm of his hand. good times
Im kinda sad that maps aren't as popular anymore, one I remember vividly was asleep, it had so much charm to it and used armour stands to make really good models. Video is great!

the original map was lost due to file corruption, but iirc, one or more fans worked on a remake for them to use, sadly we still never got anything after episode 42... at least they still remember SoI though
The texture pack used for Herobrine's Mansion is A'therys. It's like a modified version of Conquest with similar sounds and textures. It's still downloadable up to 1.19.3.
I'm kinda sad that you didn't mention Super Hostile at all especially kaizo caverns since the CTM genre started with this map and it's still to this day really fondly remembered by alot of ppl in the community

I've been looking for a while of a letsplay I used to love but I cannot find it for the life of me. I don't remember much of it but it was like a story map with a few people, one of them built the whole map and near the end they filled the ceiling of an armoury style room with chests and they all lost it laughing. The finale was like them defending a castle from the dragon and they fired at it with bows while it was raining, or maybe the castle was in the side of a cave? I dont remember much and i cant find it :(
alright so whos using mods to make a minecraft map that actually links all of these maps together like in the video? for those with stupid amounts of determination but not stupid amounts of mod knowledge, these mods are good for such activities: immersive portals cubicchunks and also you can try making a datapack that literally just changes how high minecrafts build limit limit is on second thought maybe just immersive portals would be best
I never used the mods because my ass thought it would be a good idea to record all of the maps in their respective versions hence why I made it like that

Skyblock seems to have killed a lot of the games. Even bed and skywars are fractions of their old base
