napakasolid ng set-up and vibes! actually i'm more of a traditional camper / bushcraft enthusiast and I agree with you chef na its not on how expensive or cheap your equipment is but rather how are you able to provide and integrate sustainability and outdoors. I became an avid watcher after seeing ninong Ry's camping videos and for me starting from a traditional camper by the beach overland is actually very similar to it kumbaga its just a step level of what is traditional but overall the experience is what makes it camping. Kudos to your team sobrang solid ng food and vibes it really motivates me to achieve this as well po! :)

It's nice of you to apologize to the hardcore campers. But then again, that made me realize how they shouldn't have the monopoly of being called actual campers. Bakit kailangan nitty gritty and purely roughing it up lang para maconsider na camper? Hindi ba dapat basta nag outdoors ka ay camp na rin yun? Whether you eat dilis or caviar, food pa rin yun. Eating pa rin yun. Eater ka pa rin either way. 😊
2 main reason for this: 1) Some are genuinely unaware that there are several types of camping e.g. Bushcraft/survival, Mountaineering, Overland style, Luxury camping etc. 2) Plain envy. Anything they cannot do/follow, they bash. I’ve never read any bashings by luxury campers on simple campers. It’s always the other way around. To each his own and respect other’s preferences. It’s not a contest.
During youngers years, we used to do raw camping where we hike and jampacked everything in our bags. Now that we have children, iba na ang camping. Bigger tents. May kitchen and dining set up na. But we are still hapy and satisfied. Mas happier becs we get to experience it with our children whilst the parents are also constantly learning. Whatever type of camping it is, importante is that we are enjoying and creating memories together with the whole fam.
