Hello mate, my rig was a Drennan block end bolt feeder and hookbait was pellet in the first session and casters in the second with hemp/caster going through the feeder on both.
haha yes chub love to jump out of ya hands. Try letting them suck your thum or finger as you hold them..seems to calm them. But done the same myself. Most often... when small fish fishing ive dunked em back in pond/river instead of net! Esp spindly muscly dace.

Had some nice barbel and chub from this peg over the years, My Yorks pb came from here in 2009 at 13lb 3oz.

That's very true mate. Im enjoying my fishing at Holme Marsh at the minute been really good fishing

did swaile only once at cundal was horrible full flood 3 blanks.
Ouse is also quality for barbel
