Not the same Charlie, so the books are like things happening simultaneously in different dimensions the Charlie in that story is a different version of Charlie where when she dies she didn't posses the puppet and her father in that dimension rebuilt her over several times in her life and that's where the multiple baby theory comes from because in another dimension there is one for every part of her life.

I like how he said it would be the end of the Afton saga and they'd start the next chapter in the next project, but that's exactly what they're doing with Ruin.

I don’t even play Fnaf and the convoluted lore is driving me crazy lmao (I hope the movie actually gives us clear answers)
At this point we just need a complete recap of the confirmed story in as chronological an order as we can get. This series has gone on forever. Hell, I've never played any of the games or read any of the books, but because of this channel I'm invested in the story.

Even though he doesn't talk about the newer games, I think it's pretty easy to tell which order they come in, especially since they all seem to take place after pizza sim:

The robot children concept was done in a Goosebumps book titled, “A Shocker on Shock Street”. It is quite the shocking story.

Having watched the full ruin playthrough, I think matpat's idea for an Afton memory/final conclusion thing would have made a way more interesting and satisfying game
Cassie is only not Elizabeth because in ruin she has a fully coloured cutout with Gregory

honestly i think matt is pretty spot on with theory #3. what he's suggesting as the plot for the dlc wouldn't only be awesome but it would compensate for what went wrong in security breach. it seems like the perfect ending to that chapter in the franchise. very well done, matt! i'm absolutely stoked to see what's to come.

I am really on board with the theory that show mode is what causes freddy to glitch, since he later on refuses to go to the dance floor since it will force him to dance (so, a non enssential program)
He doesnt really explain why he doesnt want that to happen, other than that he cant control it
And at first it seems rather strange, an outlying detail thats too specific (also, quite dissapointing, I really wanted to see freddy dance before the end of the game)
but if you consider that running an unnecessary program can have the risk of another crash (and maybe hijacking) it makes total sense
