The whole animatronics exhibiting toddler behavior is present in security breach as well. Monty has the destructiveness of a toddler, chica has the gluttony and love for pizza, and Roxy has the self centeredness and need to win.

Robot Gregory actually makes the high scores make sense. Those scores are above and beyond the normal range, but something with robotic quickness could get those kinds of scores.

Something I just noticed is that blue is kind of a middle ground between both purple and green. You need blue to make both colors, possibly hinting at another major choice Gregory may have to make: Afton's side (Purple) or Charlie's (Green).
Matpat is basically in charge of fnaf lore now so he can basically say anything (like the most random thing ever) and everybody would just roll with it
I think the reason the books have suddenly started to become more explicit with the lore and connections is because Scott's finally realized he needs to be more clear about what he wants the story to be

The Green and Purple thing also seems reflected in the designs for Chica, Roxanne and Monty. All have green and purple in thier designs, Chica has purple on her legs and forearms, and green earrings. Roxanne is purple but has green hair. Monty is green but his shoulder pads are purple. Those 3 are directly being controlled by Charlie and Glitch Trap, while Freddy the only one not being influenced has no purple or green in his desgin.
Also in the ruin trailer the girl that Gregory asks for help has green on her and purple maybe implying that she may also be switched to the purple side,and when you put Vannys mask on in SB Ruins it gives you night vision that’s purple.

Fun fact, green and purple are on 1/3rd intervals of a colour wheel, you know what’s directly between them? Orangy-brown, the colour of Gregory’s eyes in game. They are described as brown but hazel is probably better.

What? The lore from fnaf 1-6 is way better that what we have now. That lore is so nostalgic and PERFECT. Ever since security breach, mainly ruin, it just doesn't feel like fnaf.
@@arasel2755 I've played help wanted 2. The only two achievements I don't have are gobble gobble and hoarder. The gameplay is way better now, but the lore is way worse. i remember being LITERALLY addicted to the lore when I was little. I'm not just saying that. I was addicted. That was back in 2016 though, and now the lore isn't anything to be addicted to. Simple minecraft animations with sad fnaf music would trigger so many emotions if they included the LORE, and it was just the most addicting thing ever. Now it's just talking animatronics who make the game as wholesome as possible despite it being a HORROR GAME. I assume you wouldn't know as much about the old lore as me as I joined in 2014, maybe late 2014. I am pretty sure fnaf 2 was out when I became a fan of it, but it may not have been.

Scott is probably trying to make the lore somewhat understandable now that the movie will probably bring in more fans into this fandom and I love it cause I’ve been here since day one and now I can actually understand some of the points that y’all are talking about
I agree. Security breach felt like a soft reboot. They didn't want to get rid of all the known characters and restart the story from the beginning, but it's a new mystery you can start one to a certain extent.

Hey you’re right, he completely ignored that epilogue story where mimic1 killed off several employees in the pizza place thats buried under the pizzaplex. That epilogue is a huge foreshadow to glitchtrap and needs to be addressed.

The fact that FNAF is close to being a decade old and seeing that we still have not learned about the bite of 87 makes it clear that MatPat has officially been getting close but still far from the missing piece of the puzzle. Then again or just that we still are missing something or the bite of 87 was all just an hallucination.

Fair point as well, the Ruin dlc image we got last year had in green text "Help Me_" It could be going off that last bit on Gregory's words as well. The help is not because he's been kidnapped or anything, it's help to quiet the two voices in his head.
Also noticed this green + purple combo on Roxy, Monty and Chica. All three of them have both colors somewhere in their designs, which i noticed when i first played and thoughts was kind of interesting, especially since Freddy doesn't have them, almost hinting that he's different in some way to us the player.
Thankfully with the mimic finally being portrayed more into the lore, MatPat won’t fully start to lose his mind when trying to analyze every little thing in Security Breach including Map Bot. It’s honestly insane to see how far the FNAF lore has truly come it honestly feels like 2014 again.
@@thebreadbunny1863why not both? What if it is mimicking the behaviors of Charlie but the actions of Afton, hence the child murdering. Having the mimic be a separate entity from William would work well narratively, and having it maintain traits of Charlie would allow it to differentiate from Afton. The only issue I have with the mimic being the villain in Fnaf is motivation. Is the mimic’s motivation just to mimic what it sees, if so wouldn’t that just make for a boring antagonist, unless the mimic has some amount of sentience, in which case what does it want, what does it seek to accomplish.
@@dynamics10 that would make for an interesting and horrifying twist on Charlie’s actions. Honestly I like the idea of letting the characters from fnaf 1-6 go to rest, and letting the mimic act as a twisted reflection of the trauma caused by the actions of Afton. While Charlie gave the other victims the gift of life again, Afton took away the only life they had. A twisted version of Charlie with her actions and mannerisms, but the actions and desires of Afton would make for a really interesting antagonist.
At this point I’m sounding like a broken record, but would that not be the most absolutely epic ending for the series? The electronically preserved spirit of Afton against the AI copy of the mind of his first victim. We all know it’s not ending there, but that would be perfect.
i was thinking that the ending could be Charlie against Cassidy, with Charlie, after defeating afton, trying make Cassidy left him die already, instead of giving him more opportunities to come back
Fuhnaf telling Matt that “Charlie is in the pizzaplex” for Matt to try & write it off months ago. And yet here we are. These next gen theorists brought me back to FNAF.
With the “3rd generation” of games (help wanted, special delivery, and security breach), it really feel like the franchise has stepped away from supernatural horror, with ghosts and possession, and fully embraced sci-if horror with malicious viruses and evil AI
In Dawko's interview with Scott he said that he prefer writing in the sci-fi genre and throughout the early games he had to hold himself back from making thing too much sci-fi. So it makes sense that it would take this direction.
I really hope team theorist get invited to the premiere. They, specially Matpat, have sold their souls to this franchise. They should get at least a ticket as compensation.
Don't know if you've mentionned it already, but the two colors, Green and Purple, are also appearing on every glamrock animatronic from Security Breach except for Freddy : chica's earings are green (her hands and one of her legs too) and she has purple eyes, Roxy has purple lips, arms, legs and a green lock of hair (her guitar is also green I think), and Monty is green and has purple shades, shoulder pads, hands and feet.
The part where two forces is inside Gregory fighting to win really raises my view of fnaf as a lore and compelling story to a compelling story with a multiple direction of meanings. Really opened my eyes with this theory Mat, definitely went crazy with this one and I love it. Oh yeah and the part where Henry was actually the one who got sold to Fazbear Entertainment instead of William was mind blowing but with the evidence in this video it all makes sense actually.
Maybe thats why the sticky note room is behind an asset labeled "Charlie Door". Its a robot coming to life, becoming a young child: just like the Mimic AI, which is a parallel to Charlie.
The funniest thing about this is that This Mimic Robot is actually a thing, since it lures Cassie into the depths of the pizzaplex, It's all pointing together now..
About what MatPat said about how the community interprets the books, I think that they are supposed to be treated as metaphors or something like that. Similar to Candy Cadet’s histories Edit: I just thought about this on the shower, what if Glamrock Freddie isn’t Michael, but Henry. Hear me out, we all know that Michael went into the scooping room in SL, so he shouldn’t have almost any internal organs or skeleton so there should not be a body for Freddie to scan. But Henry was there and his skeleton or something probably stayed in Pizzeria Simulator. So if Henry is Glamrock Freddie, it would leave the possibility to him leaving messages with Mimic1. I know it breaks the symbolism of the Afton family reunion, but it is interesting.
Don't know if Mat noticed, since it seems like something he'd point out in this kind of video, but the "Help Me" in the Ruin poster under the picture of Gregory is also written in green.

I'm pretty sure Scott had a vague idea, but didn't really build on it until the subsequent games because he wasn't sure the initial game would be the initial one, that Freddy and Friends would really go anywhere.
I was rewatching Markiplier play Security Breach and I realized that Chica says "Your family is looking for you" which would make sense if Gregory is supposedly family to Vanessa. Also your amazing.
You know, with the implications of Gregory having to be "team afton", it could make sense that by "family" it meant Vanessa/the other animatronics controlled by the Afton virus. I hadn't thought about it that way

I mean, if he is indeed a robot, his memory could have gotten corrupted. So he could be both the hacker mastermind in the past, and a slightly sassy lost kid now.
i have a growing suspicion that matpat was never right, but the developers saw what he said and just made his theories right just to put him on the glory stage to crumble it later
Another piece of evidence as to why Gregory might be a robot is that in the fnaf ruin trailer, the pizza place looks very worn out and vandalized. This had to had taken place many years after the events of security breach. But then how does Gregory stay the same age. If ruin takes place years later wouldn’t he be grown up? His could link back to the fourth closet and how Charlie was built with different ages.
Not trying to disprove the theory, but this could be months after Security Breach. The level of damage and weathering could have come from the fire from the Afton ending causing the underground to collapse causing structural damage to the Pizza Plex and couple that with the other Animatronics and the blob rampaging through the now abandoned Pizza Plex I could see years worth of damage happening in only a few months.
The plex is not actually that ruined, not more ruined than a sinkhole collapsing and a fire burning would, anyway. And Gregory is not a robot, he has a confirmed family in GGY.
Couldn't the same be said for Cassie then about the aging? Also, if Gregory is Patient 46, then wouldn't the last hidden cd, the one you can't access normally, confirm he has some sort of family? Enough to be traced back to. At least I remember that cd being about 46.
I think the one who wrote those things in the wall was not Henry, but Charlie. Charlie is the one influencing Gregory. She must've wrote it this way because it's the language she knows best, and since Gregory is a robot decoding it wouldn't be too difficult.
Competing AIs is kind of an old school trope in Sci-Fi, so it would make sense that it is two AI like entities battling each other. Just like it's been two wills battling each other this entire series.
Reminds me of a story someone told about how they installed two anti-viruses and those "fought" with each other, like marking the opposing AV software for deletion and such.

i find it very interesting that team theorist has picked up on the connection between mimic and charlie, whereas every other channel has only discussed mimic's connection to afton. i think this adds a cool new layer to the mimic burntrap theory; imagine being "possessed" (in a way) by both a murderer and one of the children he killed. two completely different objectives would be running at once. we have no idea what the mimic will do moving forward, as even the mimic is likely confused. i wonder if the solution will be appealing to the charlie side of the mimic? this is so cool !! and of course, i'm stoked to have an explanation for those puppet-looking wires around the pizzaplex lol.
Maybe it could be both Charlie and Afton. Sort of like how you could talk to the same chat bot, but if you talk to it in different ways, you get different experiences? Maybe there were two copies of the Mimic1 program, one was taught by the Help Wanted game and the other by Henry like MatPat said. Of course, this is all a guess, I haven't played any of the games and have only read the Silver Eyes Trilogy, so take this all with a grain of salt.

Something I just noticed is that blue is kind of a middle ground between both purple and green. You need blue to make both colors, possibly hinting at another major choice Gregory may have to make: Afton's side (Purple) or Charlie's (Green).

The Green and Purple thing also seems reflected in the designs for Chica, Roxanne and Monty. All have green and purple in thier designs, Chica has purple on her legs and forearms, and green earrings. Roxanne is purple but has green hair. Monty is green but his shoulder pads are purple. Those 3 are directly being controlled by Charlie and Glitch Trap, while Freddy the only one not being influenced has no purple or green in his desgin.

Fun fact, green and purple are on 1/3rd intervals of a colour wheel, you know what’s directly between them? Orangy-brown, the colour of Gregory’s eyes in game. They are described as brown but hazel is probably better.

@@arasel2755 I've played help wanted 2. The only two achievements I don't have are gobble gobble and hoarder. The gameplay is way better now, but the lore is way worse. i remember being LITERALLY addicted to the lore when I was little. I'm not just saying that. I was addicted. That was back in 2016 though, and now the lore isn't anything to be addicted to. Simple minecraft animations with sad fnaf music would trigger so many emotions if they included the LORE, and it was just the most addicting thing ever. Now it's just talking animatronics who make the game as wholesome as possible despite it being a HORROR GAME.
I assume you wouldn't know as much about the old lore as me as I joined in 2014, maybe late 2014. I am pretty sure fnaf 2 was out when I became a fan of it, but it may not have been.

I agree. Security breach felt like a soft reboot. They didn't want to get rid of all the known characters and restart the story from the beginning, but it's a new mystery you can start one to a certain extent.

Hey you’re right, he completely ignored that epilogue story where mimic1 killed off several employees in the pizza place thats buried under the pizzaplex. That epilogue is a huge foreshadow to glitchtrap and needs to be addressed.

The fact that FNAF is close to being a decade old and seeing that we still have not learned about the bite of 87 makes it clear that MatPat has officially been getting close but still far from the missing piece of the puzzle. Then again or just that we still are missing something or the bite of 87 was all just an hallucination.

Fair point as well, the Ruin dlc image we got last year had in green text "Help Me_" It could be going off that last bit on Gregory's words as well. The help is not because he's been kidnapped or anything, it's help to quiet the two voices in his head.

Also noticed this green + purple combo on Roxy, Monty and Chica. All three of them have both colors somewhere in their designs, which i noticed when i first played and thoughts was kind of interesting, especially since Freddy doesn't have them, almost hinting that he's different in some way to us the player.
you can get a purple bowtie from upgrades and I think you were supposed to get monty's legs or smth, which would probably get the green color.

What if Scott cawthon is letting theorists come up with random ideas and then adapting to those ideas (he had no plans for them before)
Thankfully with the mimic finally being portrayed more into the lore, MatPat won’t fully start to lose his mind when trying to analyze every little thing in Security Breach including Map Bot. It’s honestly insane to see how far the FNAF lore has truly come it honestly feels like 2014 again.

@@thebreadbunny1863why not both? What if it is mimicking the behaviors of Charlie but the actions of Afton, hence the child murdering. Having the mimic be a separate entity from William would work well narratively, and having it maintain traits of Charlie would allow it to differentiate from Afton. The only issue I have with the mimic being the villain in Fnaf is motivation. Is the mimic’s motivation just to mimic what it sees, if so wouldn’t that just make for a boring antagonist, unless the mimic has some amount of sentience, in which case what does it want, what does it seek to accomplish.

Honestly I like the idea of letting the characters from fnaf 1-6 go to rest, and letting the mimic act as a twisted reflection of the trauma caused by the actions of Afton. While Charlie gave the other victims the gift of life again, Afton took away the only life they had. A twisted version of Charlie with her actions and mannerisms, but the actions and desires of Afton would make for a really interesting antagonist.

These next gen theorists brought me back to FNAF.
It's like a big 'ol battle with the two main characters (Charlie and Peepaw Willy) kudos to both of them honestly they both always come back
With the “3rd generation” of games (help wanted, special delivery, and security breach), it really feel like the franchise has stepped away from supernatural horror, with ghosts and possession, and fully embraced sci-if horror with malicious viruses and evil AI
In Dawko's interview with Scott he said that he prefer writing in the sci-fi genre and throughout the early games he had to hold himself back from making thing too much sci-fi. So it makes sense that it would take this direction.
Just imagine we had chosen Slender man instead of Fnaf back in the day, like just imagine much more sane Matpat would be

Don't know if you've mentionned it already, but the two colors, Green and Purple, are also appearing on every glamrock animatronic from Security Breach except for Freddy : chica's earings are green (her hands and one of her legs too) and she has purple eyes, Roxy has purple lips, arms, legs and a green lock of hair (her guitar is also green I think), and Monty is green and has purple shades, shoulder pads, hands and feet.
Freddy's upgrades are also purple, with the green of Monty's fingers mostly gone

The part where two forces is inside Gregory fighting to win really raises my view of fnaf as a lore and compelling story to a compelling story with a multiple direction of meanings.

Maybe thats why the sticky note room is behind an asset labeled "Charlie Door". Its a robot coming to life, becoming a young child: just like the Mimic AI, which is a parallel to Charlie.

Hear me out, we all know that Michael went into the scooping room in SL, so he shouldn’t have almost any internal organs or skeleton so there should not be a body for Freddie to scan. But Henry was there and his skeleton or something probably stayed in Pizzeria Simulator. So if Henry is Glamrock Freddie, it would leave the possibility to him leaving messages with Mimic1.

i have a growing suspicion that matpat was never right, but the developers saw what he said and just made his theories right just to put him on the glory stage to crumble it later
Another piece of evidence as to why Gregory might be a robot is that in the fnaf ruin trailer, the pizza place looks very worn out and vandalized. This had to had taken place many years after the events of security breach. But then how does Gregory stay the same age. If ruin takes place years later wouldn’t he be grown up? His could link back to the fourth closet and how Charlie was built with different ages.
My theory is that if he is a human, he is dead... and a mimic is luring Cassy
Not trying to disprove the theory, but this could be months after Security Breach. The level of damage and weathering could have come from the fire from the Afton ending causing the underground to collapse causing structural damage to the Pizza Plex and couple that with the other Animatronics and the blob rampaging through the now abandoned Pizza Plex I could see years worth of damage happening in only a few months.

The plex is not actually that ruined, not more ruined than a sinkhole collapsing and a fire burning would, anyway. And Gregory is not a robot, he has a confirmed family in GGY.
Couldn't the same be said for Cassie then about the aging? Also, if Gregory is Patient 46, then wouldn't the last hidden cd, the one you can't access normally, confirm he has some sort of family? Enough to be traced back to. At least I remember that cd being about 46.

I think the one who wrote those things in the wall was not Henry, but Charlie. Charlie is the one influencing Gregory. She must've wrote it this way because it's the language she knows best, and since Gregory is a robot decoding it wouldn't be too difficult.

Competing AIs is kind of an old school trope in Sci-Fi, so it would make sense that it is two AI like entities battling each other.

Reminds me of a story someone told about how they installed two anti-viruses and those "fought" with each other, like marking the opposing AV software for deletion and such.

@@Cookiekopter the player's vision glitches, doesn't mean Gregory's does - even if he's the protagonist. Games like Meta Gear Solid have proven those are two different things.
The reason we deny it is just because it doesn’t feel satisfying, like a cop-out to tie everything back to the aftons, well, for me at least, i dont really enjoy the whole “I always come back” thing anymore
@@Cookiekopter mabye his glitching vison is because it makes the game more scary and unexpected. Anyways my point is that not everything needs to be a part of the lore it could just be for gameplay purposes.

i find it very interesting that team theorist has picked up on the connection between mimic and charlie, whereas every other channel has only discussed mimic's connection to afton. i think this adds a cool new layer to the mimic burntrap theory; imagine being "possessed" (in a way) by both a murderer and one of the children he killed. two completely different objectives would be running at once. we have no idea what the mimic will do moving forward, as even the mimic is likely confused. i wonder if the solution will be appealing to the charlie side of the mimic? this is so cool !! and of course, i'm stoked to have an explanation for those puppet-looking wires around the pizzaplex lol.
Maybe it could be both Charlie and Afton. Sort of like how you could talk to the same chat bot, but if you talk to it in different ways, you get different experiences? Maybe there were two copies of the Mimic1 program, one was taught by the Help Wanted game and the other by Henry like MatPat said. Of course, this is all a guess, I haven't played any of the games and have only read the Silver Eyes Trilogy, so take this all with a grain of salt.
