I've ordered one, just waiting for it to be built. I find myself watching this video over and over again to help with the excitement. I still remember my test ride. That smile stayed with me for weeks. Keep the reviews going as I really enjoy them.
Great review, as a F900 owner I agree with your take on the bike. It is a solid option for anyone looking in the sport/touring world and should be considered.
I love the bike for sure. I got it 3 months ago and the same feeling about 2 things. I just upgraded the wind visor, and now looking to upgrade the seat, which is very expensive. LOL
Great video. I'm a short rider 30 inch inseam. Is there much difference with the seat height on XR vs R? Would you say if one put a windscreen on an F900R, then it's better value to get compared to the XR?
How weird, I'm looking into getting a new bike and I come across the only channel in NY reviewing the f900s and it's someone I went to hs with to boot lol
I don’t think it’s a tall bike at all. I can flat-foot with slightly bent knees, and I’m only 6’2”. You might want to take some extra training, you’re not really balanced on the bike for someone who says he’s experienced, you didn’t check traffic on the highway you merged onto, your position on the road is all over the place and you seem to have trouble riding the bike at low speeds. Did you get any training at all?
@@supersportsanthony have you seen the new MV's the Rush1000 and Brutale 1000rr they are naked bikes and guess what, they make 208hp stock!!!!🤯 How much of a road would you need to see their potential and where?? Just curious for your opinion!!
I often tell my clients that my favorite bike is the S1000R, and it "only" has 160hp. And in my opinion that is more than enough. Ride a naked bike at full throttle and by the time you are approaching and passing 130MPH, the wind makes pushing it further than that miserable. I often believe the Italian bikes like Ducati, MV, etc, need the high HP number to compensate for the rest of the bike. 200hp is almost useless on most bikes unless you are regularly at the track, so would you prefer German engineering and reliability with less HP, or problematic Italian flare? And trust me, I adore the MV Brutale, it's a gorgeous bike, but it's overpriced and finicky. In a perfect world I'd have both, but if I need a one bike for everything, it's gonna be a BMW! 🤙🤙
Thank you for your good review. I like this bike, and will buy galvanized grey color. I wonder about side hard cases. Does its get into a full face helmet?
Helmets are tough because no two helmets have the same shell shape or size, or style even. So its hard to say if it will fit or not, bring your helmet to your local Motorrad dealer and ask to test fit it on one of the cases. A
Great bike, but the reviewer is a real jerk! 🤬 Glad you replaced him with Adam Waheed!😎 I mean, running bicycles off the road?😱. Not cool at all. Motorcyclists are too vulnerable to be ass holes. Adam’s mellow; maybe the difference is New York vs California 😘.

Good review, this is the bike for but I personally like the gold painted model with hand guards included
Good choice!

Small world huh?? Maybe I'll see you out on the road! ✌
Great review as always. Is that the large tank back or the small on? Also it seems like the bike actually looks better with the panniers on.
The panniers suit the styling very well. They don't look like an afterthought. I believe this is the bigger of the two available tank bags from BMW.
Thanks for the very exhaustive useful review.
Glad it was helpful!

Trial by fire! But if you are offering free training lessons I will gladly accept!
So these both f900r and f900xr are basically torque based bikes...... Right?? Just like MT-07-ish......?
I would agree, high horsepower on naked bikes like this are a little redundant, usable torque like this bike and the MT07 make the ride more fun!

@@supersportsanthony I think I'll go with F900R 😑
I might have to buy one of these, thanks for the review!
You should, and thanks for watching!
Do you think someone with 6.4 can fit comfortably?
What's your height and inseam?

My gosh NYC is a zoo, how can you ride in there? lol
Thick skin and a lot of luck!
Why do you honk at the cyclists when you can change lanes? Not cool.
