- I am excited to have this watch in the collection. I have looked at so many of the other Seiko 62 MAS re-creations, in fact I do own a SPB149, but the SJE093 is more true to the original. In fact I think this is the closest re-creation to date.

It’s such a wildly sought after piece. It’s a great competitor to Tudor, Omega, and even Rolex offerings. It should be therefore a permanent model in Seiko’s catalog.
I am sure that Seiko will offer a non-limited version of this watch in the near future. It is a great sized diver for my 6.5" wrist.

Seiko does for the most part have good quality. It is hit or miss on the lower end models sometimes though.
Kudos. The best 62MAS reissue to date. I was shopping for one, but ended up buying a Pelagos 39 instead.

Thank you. I watched a portion of that video as well. As far as the watch being worth the price, that is subjective. I don't know if any watch over $1,000 is worth the price.
Looks great, I own two as a customer couldn't make full payment so I scoop the second one for a great price from my beloved Seiko/GS AD. My first 093 settled at +2seconds now from losing -1, my second settled in around -1 to +2 from losing 2-3 seconds weird but I'll take that over 6R35 and for 2.7K all complete with plastics no complaints from me. I put them on StrapHabit quick release Trooic and waffle in various colors 19mm and 20mm both work perfectly I do prefer 20mm as it's perfect.
That is a good deal for you, no so much for the original customer. That is good to know about the accuracy, I have not really checked the accuracy on any of my watches. Thanks for mentioning strap habit, I reached out to them, and I will get getting some straps from them in the near future for review.
That Bezel shouldn't be that tight...
The bezel does not feel too tight to me.

My experience wearing the watch is telling me the same thing. I will be getting a Sailcloth strap for it.
The 62 mas has been reproduced (far too long) past 5 years or so. A similar Seiko "limited edition" policy....Not sure whether Seiko regulated this watch but given they can't be bothered with regulating and of course to cut costs, wouldn't be surprised if it's not. Wrong comparison with the sub Kevin......It's rubber strap is very long and given there's no bracelet, it's another reason to pass. Cool yes, 3.5k a firm no, a Tudor, longines, Oris are by far better options imo. Wouldn't buy this one even at -50% it's retail.
I agree with you regarding the variations of limited edition watches. There should be a limited number of limited edition watches, LOL. It is not just Seiko that does this either. I agree that that price is steep, and I would really appreciate a lower price on this watch, and other watches as well. The SJE093 is as close as you will get to a 62 MAS without buying the original watch.

@@mathewazzopard8100 I have priced out some vintage 62 MAS watches and the ones in good shape are selling for more than that. I bought this one used at a discount, so I did not pay the full price.
The strap is long because you can wear it over a wetsuit! Duh!

No crown protection? No thanks.
I don't mind that. I prefer the look without the crown guards, however I am not diving with this watch, or using it for anything too rough.
@@WrongTimeWatchit's a beauty and mirrors the original one has to be a true Seiko lover to to spend the funds without a thought on wether it's worth it, I own the 124060 Sub and the Seiko 62Mas is worth every penny to me.
