Great review, but in all honesty car prices are really becoming scary - and for a million rand, I can think of many more cars that look far better than this (lets be honest, for a million, you aint going for practicality and fuel consumption hehehehe)
I like how you hit us in the face with the cost in the start my word...the pocket behind the seat i think is a map pocket and its only on the passengers side so the driver can put stuff in it when they reach back so there's no need for one behind the driver seat.
Great video! Couldn't really hear the keyless engine start and exhaust sounds so nicely in the beginning over the music. Some more B-roll would help with the walk-around/interior/boot shots.
This is the third review I've seen in a row about this car I'm immensely impressed. It's mature, masculine and sporty doubt any passenger that's isn't an airhead would say any comment like should have got polo sendan or Toyota corolla for that matter 😉. That 3 series's side profile is a comment other reviews didn't mention. Honestly I'll love to wrap the roof in Forge carbon fibre and side mirrors IDK 🤷♂️ to emulate the Corolla gr accents maybe lowglow underglow. Besides that it's cvt transmission I don't know the long-term longevity of that transmission and honestly no one else even attempted to give a ballpark whether or not it's a reliable next 5 years. Or fuel efficiency over time. Which is a missed opportunity.
Good review.. nice car overall. What would it take to get Honda to give us a manual transmission. Petrol-heads despise CVT unfortunately. You think Honda might bring a few manual models. Bcoz not everyone is willing to head to Type R just for a manual
Nope, Into price was R660K. Demos now going for the mid R500K... Definitely not a million, but nearly that with a 7 years finance @ 13% A million is the Type-R which some mistake this for!
@greyling8478 lmao, I wonder when the RS3 actualy won an award for performance car of the year etc, meaning has the ability to go around a corner aswel have driver engagement....your RS3 is Playstation car, but I bet all type Rs will give your RS3 around a track as it's built to do....RS3...please talk about something else that will excite me....😂😂😂
@greyling8478 bit of a childish comment, I'm not a lighti going to street racing with every other child in his unreliable RS3. I take my car to a track and then race and enjoy the car for what it is....i don't need to try impress girls with my car, I would be in a kwid and get gapped by your cute RS3 and I will still chow more dolls than you've had sweets. Now jog on
To be clear, the car cost R710 000.00, financing the car the interest you will pay adds up to just over a million.

Yes bro ain't no way I'm paying near R1m for a Honda.. nah..R250k gets you as much kick and value I must say if you are a petrolhead.

Trying to minimise b roll as it can be nauseating, but going to find the right balance
Any updates on the s14 giveaway?
Coming soon!
Price is steep but car prices in SA are crazy i mean a vw polo now is R500k+- so i guess the second hand market will increase

Honestly, it’s to early to say how with the gearbox, I just think it should have been a torque converter auto or even a Dual clutch.
These cars have very decent 2nd hard prices now.
This or WRX?

Thank you for the comment sir!
Honda SA needs to be realistic with their pricisng..this sedan could do well at 400K to 450K range.
It could yes but if a polo is about R500k+ how would this be?
Why wouldn't you just buy a Golf 8 GTI? For that price, too expensive for little power in a 1.5l engine
Why would you then buy a GTI when you can get a Type R? Same thing
What nearly R1m for a 1.5L Honda??? Its a nice car but WHAT????

Who in their right mind would buy a Honda that is more that a million rand haibo, it's not worth even half a million
My bru have you heard of a type R that is currently the best hot hatch on the planet 😂 please name a better one....I will wait
