      @@AngeloMontilla Great content and easy to follow tutorials, I'm making a brochure for my company that we can take to an elevator convention. Im wondering what the most ideal form of media this will be when finished, as in an interactive pdf we could email to clients? Or would there be a simpler way of doing this. Thankyou

    I am learning so much, thanks! I have a question; when I am creating an info field OVER the button, the button shows on top of the info field after clicking. Is there a way to hide the button, or keep it underneath the info field? Merci beaucoup from France!

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Geralda! I am not totally sure what you're asking here and what you mean by "info field". Do you mean a text frame?You could bring your text frame to the front of the button by going to Arrange > Bring Forward or simply making sure it's above the button object in the Layers panel. I hope that answers your question. Thanks!

    Hi Angelo, your tutorials are amazing, thanks for that but could you please help me with specific thing. How to insert a real, working google map in a "publish online" document page? With options for zoom and switching views...I'm dying here :(

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there. Do that before you publish online. In InDesign, go to Object > Insert HTML. You can paste the Google Map embed code here. It may not show up initially in but test it out in the epub preview and it will work as intended. Publish it from there.

    Hi Angelo! Is there a way to make the showing/hiding of the info box/close button ease in and ease out? I've figured out how to make the two fade in together by adding an animation that's triggered by clicking on the Marker. I'm not sure how to get the fade out set up though.

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there! Yes, you could add a Fade In animation to the info boxes and add an additional Actions to the buttons to Play and Reverse the Animation. That would be the easiest way of setting it up. I actually covered this (using videos) in my latest tutorial, which you can view here: th-cam.com/video/0z6iFabFW9o/w-d-xo.html

    hello angelo! thanks for the tip. the only problem I have is that when I roll over in the pdf, the page turns white and takes time to load, I've already tried several things but I can't see what the problem could be, what do you think? Thank you!

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Mariana. I just double checked and mine is working as intended in PDF Interactive. Is it working in the InDesign preview? Make sure you're driving into the selection and then setting the rollover appearance. Double check that you set the rollover buttons correctly. Thanks!

    👍Good lesson. There is a question: Is it possible to make a mobile version of these pages, with automatic recognition from which device the published document is being viewed? PC - tablet or phone. Or you need to make 2 versions and 2 links to these versions.

    • @AngeloMontilla
      @AngeloMontilla  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The publish online feature doesn’t allow for responsive design unfortunately. That is why it is important to create a mobile page size of it will be viewed for mobile. I know In5 has a responsive layout export option when publishing to web but it’s a subscription platform. You could always check that out too.

    • @zooluwarrior
      @zooluwarrior ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AngeloMontilla In5 has amazing features but its subscription cost is quite high. If you only require to do a single project that involves a responsive layout, you will have to pay $100 for a month. It doesn't seem logical to pay for an annual subscription if you do not frequently engage in such work.
