    u should talk much more on this: There is this very problematic kind of shows and movies that i have noticed it for long which i dont like, that is NRI's children shows, indian based shows made by west for mainly west and global market, indian shows by indian makers that are made by keeping in mind the west and global market, and mind you these contents are made usually by netflix only: like white tiger, indian matchmaking, bridgerton s2, suitable boys, never have i ever, bollywood wives, wedding season etc. In these shows the makers try to make exaggerated characters out of indian people, culture (every aspects: major and minor), accents, etc for global audience to judge, laugh at and enjoy for exoticism like caste, arrange marriage, gender inequality, poverty. Now actually i dont wanna say anything about NRI's children show, for nris are there own community and those shows are for them to judge and decide what do they think, now for the second category again i cant say much since they dont care if i watch it or not since it is for mainly west and global audience (but still i dont like them because of these reasons), so for these 2 kind of content i want to just say that us indians should not watch it and they should not try to market it to us either. Now coming to the 3rd kind, the producers should stop giving money completely forever to the makers who likes to make this kind of content and give the money to the people who are rooted, highly talented in there art and craft and who likes to make movies and shows which are about indians and for indians, and about all good bad ugly, fiction and non fiction (for both type: realistic and commercial entertaining content). Its sad that people watch these kind of content, because our people generally are very chamcha, pleaser, and follower kind, and have little to none healthy amount of ego

    Considering that the epicenter of colonialism has shifted from the UK to the US, this is not surprising. Its imposition of the anglo saxon colonial values using different wrappers. We just have to follow our own intersts and not be tied up in any country's webs like the Europeans - the US may be pissed off but their predation has to be called sooner or later. De dollarisatio must be a priority - the Asian powers have to unite on this matter.
    Interesting but dangerous times indeed.

      @MIND COOLING bro GDP per capita is a measure of quality of life of an average citizen it does not reflect a country's overall power and influence at all. Do you know that Liechtenstein has the highest per capita GDP in the world and many people don't even know that there is a country by the name of Liechtenstein. France has 4X per capita GDP than china but is France even 10% as powerful as China? GDP per capita does not reflect a country's economic power at all. But yes I still think we need to reach at least the 10 trillion dollars economy mark before picking sides.

    • @Rahulsharma80558
      @Rahulsharma80558 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @MIND COOLING lol dude this whole measuring of gdp per capita is just a scam process..
      For example an indian earning 8lakh ($10,000) per annum can live a very good and high quality of life. But at the same time a US citizen or from other western countries even if he is earning $50,000 per annum. He will still be middle class there. Indian will live a high quality life in $10k than and American who is earning $50k.
      Even if want India's gdp per capita toh match western nations then an average indian has to earn 40 lakhs($50k) per annum which is no way possible.. china with all the manufacturing hub of the world is currently at $10,000 gdp per capita.
      Do this comparison of whole gdp per capita into dollars in absurd bullshit.. if one really wants to compare then he should do it in ppp terms

    Honestly india should keep pursuing our independent foreign policy, the US keeps showing how they’re an unreliable partner and therefore we should never align with them except where it benefits us directly. The US is also in a bind though, while they’re unhappy with India as we don’t side with them on everything, they’re well aware that China is the bigger threat to their hegemony and therefore will come back to India to help rebalance. In the pretext of rebalance, let’s take what we can from the US while maintaining our strong independent ties with Iran, Russia and whoever else we please.

  • @ranadeepghosh

    #AskAbhijit Sir, do you feel there's anything wrong with being aligned with the West, aka be a vassal US nation, development wise/financially? Because the Asian countries which are completely West aligned are rich and developed, like South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, etc. Please share your thoughts on this? Did India miss a major opportunity in the past?

    • @atulkothari1999
      @atulkothari1999 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes..100% Nehru went to remain non aligned and Indira Gandhi took us into the lap of than USSR which was broke and also it sucked us economically and financially showing the ties Etc..
      Hence that doubt still persist while dealing with the West and USA in particular.
      Actually USA being the oldest democracy and we being the largest democracy could have been the natural allies but had it not been for the murder of our than Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Sashtriji and the USSR (KGB) planted Indira Gandhi as their stooge and rest is history..
      We would have been much much more prosperous and developed as an country had our destiny would not have given us the leaders like Gandhi, Nehru and fake Gandhi family of today…
      They screwed us big and we shall face and suffer due to their huge blunders .

    • @scruffymakaveli6870
      @scruffymakaveli6870 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      South Korea, Japan can only be vassal nations. India has the manpower and geographic potential to be a superpower. The US influenced Japan, Korea, Taiwan significantly in culture as well. The Japanese and especially the Koreans have lost most of their ancient culture. Modern Korean culture is highly western. I am sure you are aware of this. Culture, roots are extremely important for long-term sustainability of a nation. Look how UK still has a monarchy. Even though, they are democratic. It is a symbol of their glory, a part of their culture. There is nothing wrong with being aligned with the west, but being a vassal US nation is simply unacceptable, specially for a country with such rich history and potential of being a world leader as India.
