What's interesting is that in the Heartland, Rimland and Island theory richly endowed Africa is ignored as a wasteland. The damage to social structure done by the Slave trade to the fertile parts of west Africa and occupation in rich southern parts of the continent is still lingering. The unrest in mineral rich countries are remnants of this past.
That could change when I run for President of South Africa. Africa must unite and protect its rich resources.

A lot of damaged had been done by the Brits to South Asia and Africa subcontinent both physically, economically and emotionally. People expect us to come out of the depression of more that 200 years in just a span of time. But I believe that we all will become powerful once again and on our own pace.
If india were to become a superpower india should focus on making their economy strong say 5 or 7 or 10 trillion dollar economy. Plus india should focus on building a strong navy a really strong navy that can be used to assert its dominance. Along with a really strong airforce.
There are many internal problems and no perfect grip to increase economy,conflicts btw like religion,caste,btw states .. I think until become independent from every country (which can be made by india by developing technology ) we can become a superpower.

No, as long as we hold on to NE India. If NE India is lost for some reason (most likely Chinese aggression) then yes Bangladesh can be used to unsettle India by other larger nations (such as China). As of now, Bangladesh is strategically encircled by India, so it has no option but to maintain favorable relations with India. India should focus on quick and extensive development of the NE, while simultaneously focusing on fostering great relations with Myanmar and Bangladeshi governments so that they provide us direct access to NE in case a third Sino-Indian war breaks out in that part.
As a Bangladeshi who doesn't have negative views on India I'd say it's really the last 3-4 years this happened like before that i couldn't even dreamt of any Bangladeshi liking Pakistan over india,but now it's unfortunate that it is happening but I'd say a majority of us still have neutral or positive opinions to india it's just that we hate Pakistan less now
