    Thanks for making this video Max, while not a difficult task, having a quick and concise step by step video saves alot of time for laymen such as myself, cheers!

    Perfect, thanks mate. Helped me a lot.
    I wish all mechanics were as trustworthy as yourself. I had 3 out of 6 black screws missing... obviously from a previous mechanic who wasn't a good person

      Sorry to hear about the previous mechanic. In my opinion, your reputation is everything - so make sure the job is done right the first time.
      Thanks for your comment 😉

    Very helpful video good sir! Changing a Captiva’s cabin filter is a nightmare when compared to your regular toyotas and mitsubishis 🤣

    An experienced mechanic once told me you don't have to change the cabin filter on a Captiva, he said the cars rarely last long enough to need it.

      You shouldn't have trusted your boyfriend🤣; my 2011 Captiva is the best car ever.

      To all the Captiva owners out there that are still getting a good run out of their car, I'm happy for you, all 7 of you 🤣

    Ty. My air con just doesnt have any oomph atm. I live in the country and the carby air filter has been changed at least once and my ex who talked me thru it was disgusted at the state of it, i bet this is my problem. My car is even the same year and i think even engine size, so yay.

    • @MiracleMAX
      @MiracleMAX  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If that isn't your problem, I suggest you may need to take it to someone who can check the operation and gas levels in the system.

    I discovered that it's important to be careful when removing the filter cover. It's super brittle and it's easy to break the mounting point on the left hand side, so you need to be very gentle. The covers are expensive to replace. I ended up making a 'Z' shaped retaining bracket to secure the cover back in place. Finally don't trust Ryco's 'find your filter by rego' feature on their website. Silly me, trusted Ryco, ordered the Ryco Microshield N99 Cabin Filter RCA194M and it does not fit, so I wasted about $39 and ended up spending $48 on an in-house brand from Repco.

    Hi Mate . Tristan here. How are you. Mate i have question i buy holden cd barina 2013. All services is holden. My question is the engine is a bit loud and noise have vibrate when running. And i think a bit high rev. Cheers Mate

    • @MiracleMAX
      @MiracleMAX  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Tristan, is it running on all cylinders? That might be why it is vibrating. Is it at idle, at revs or is it when you are driving? When you say a bit loud, do you mean out of the exhaust, under the bonnet or when you are driving? Do any of the systems have any fault codes?

    • @MiracleMAX
      @MiracleMAX  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sorry, the Captiva is not longer build in Australia and we do not have information on the 2023 model. I believe that it is still located behind the glovebox. The best fuel to use on your model will be listed in the owner's manual or behind the fuel cap lid

    Thank you for sharing, however, I found out you don't need to pop the hinges out nor open the retaining cable. Just unscrew the 6 black screws and off it goes. I followed this guide. Much more simpler. th-cam.com/video/1NvvVX10Log/w-d-xo.html
