@@carsandbeatzofficial7545 did u buy the Chinese part or genuine Audi? I’m worried about the Chinese stuff being sub par. That code left me stranded but a reset cleared the code and allowed me to get out of limo mode for now.

@@living9377Put the car back in PARK turn it off. Wait a few seconds restart it and go from PARK to DRIVE and see if it stays out of limp mode. It will stay in limp mode at any malfunction until you restart the car. Of course replace the part but dont get stuck anymore once it resets

Did it resolve the problem, I have the same fault code on my 55plate C5 v6 2.5 trip, the same symptoms and my PRNDS are illuminated in red as well as the clunk in D and R plus it won’t change gear when it’s doing all this which it does after a short time driving it, I’m currently not driving it because of the issue. I've owned the car a month or so and driven it 2or 3 times and I’m desperate to get it fixed hence my opening question. Thanks, great vid too.😊

@@living9377 update... Did a scan using Ross Tech software, turns out i had two bad solenoids. Changed those out and replaced with new ones. Second scan..same damn issue. Seems like the (TCM) transmission control module isnt communicating with the solenoids. Bought new TCM now awaiting its arrival

@@josephfahie8147 come to think of it....I think I had a cooler on my passenger seat fall and water fell on the chair. The TCM is right under the passenger side. When you get in there check for moisture and any corrosion. If that is not addressed, (moisture or corrosion) the same thing will happen to your new TCM. There tons of these cars at the junk yard so I will grab a TCM for $15 to see if this fixes it for me if the codes come back. Appreciate the update. People don’t understand my love affair with Audi’s I love them but when they act like this it is nerve wracking. Please update again. I would love to hear if yours got fixed once the TCM arrives. Good luck!
