    Thank you! My partner has been away from Iran since he left for university and his family is still there. Since watching your channel I am able to make him foods from his home that reminds home of his mother’s cooking. Great job!

    Looks really good ..have to trip to Persian store & Costco tomorrow Saturday , this is Persian way we always made in childhood in Iran ..some people i see add eggplant to it 2, such as comes out delicious also just we just never made it that way with eggplant

    Once for lunch at the office, I had a tachin. When I turned on the microwave to warm up, my co-worker asked, "Would you like a cake for lunch?" Now that I saw that you wrote the cake, I laughed a lot. Make your lips really funny.😁😁😁😁

    Wow! A gorgeous dish Youssef. I truly enjoy your cooking show. You are calm, clean and your food looks delicious. I will try to make this for a special dinner.
    I have a question, what can I use instead of yogurt in your egg/yogurt mixture. I can't use dairy product here. I will substitute the butter with olive oil and would prefer not to use vegan style yogurt. Where I live, it is rare to find also.
    Curious to know what is the purpose of the yogurt in the recipe? To add tang? Moisture? Fat?

      Hi Yonah...the yogurt helps to hold the dish together along with the egg, and it does add moisture and some flavor. Unfortunately, I really don’t know what to substitute for the yogurt, except for vegan yogurt if available. I’ve never tried making the dish without yogurt but maybe you can experiment. All the best!

    Looks amazing. What kind of side dishes would you serve this with? Maybe a stew to have some sauce for the rice?

      there is no stew for this as it already has chicken. if you make the rice without the chicken try half safron rice half regular and it usually goes well with kabab or any stew. side dishes that are good are usually yogourt.

    Hi Yousef jaan, Thank you very much for the great instruction. I have a question regarding temperature. I followed yoyr instruction, and set the temperature at 380 F for 20 minutes, but it did not turn to orangish color of Tahdig. What did I do wrong?

      Maybe it’s an oven to oven difference here? Try raising the temperature to 400 or keep it in longer longer.

    In Iran they make TahChin without chicken eggs. Chicken eggs stink and don't taste bad. because the compost material smells like🤢
