To all who are planning to buy any Predator series laptop, just go for it I’ve been using Acer predator laptops since 3 years. I own Acer predator triton 300 and Helios 300 and I am damn sure my fps does match this fps mentioned in the above videos with compromising a bit of video settings.

The CPU is great but hmm the GPU. How about testing it on 1440p instead? Gotta see what a 4060 could offer. It should be tested on the laptop's native resolution anyway.
Because youtube's recommend ratio is 16:9 and laptop's display aspect ratio is 16:10 so video does not fit in full screen It performs well on 1440p also

I bought Rtx 4070 version. Performance, cooling, and display are amazing but i have an interesting problem. After turning off keyboard backlight, an interesting sound like electrical current sound becomes. I met with seller and technical service, it will be most probably changed with new one. Try switch on acer app from balanced to performance mode. This notebook reduce the voltage of the CPU in balanced mode by default after sometime in gaming. This not happen in performance and turbo modes. Hope it helps

You can either edit tdp in XTU, or try to edit cpu performance in windows power management. The truth is, most games does not need a 4-4.5ghz, 55w - 85w cpu. For rtx4050 and 4060, and even 4070, a 35w - 45w, 3-3.5ghz cpu is enough. Another option is go to registry and open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7 find attribute value and change to 2, reboot. Then you can see some advanced options in your power plan such as: turbo boost option, max cpu performance, etc. You can manually create your own power plan, try to limit the cpu p core to 3.5ghz, or even 2.7ghz for most games. Charging via adapter is recommended while playing games This laptop comes with 2×8gb ram if you want to upgrade ram to 16gb then you will need to remove both 8gb ram sticks and install 2 sticks of 16gb ram I think it can support upto 2tb ssd per slot No issues with hdmi

Blue light filtering also important, in 2 other chinese laptops I'm considering, they all have DC dimming and blue light filtering of the backlight.

I'm deciding between helios 300 (2022) 3070ti, and helios neo 16 4060. Almost same price at best buy (1300 and 1350 u$d) I don't really mind if 3070ti gets 10more fps, i'm a casual gamer. But i like the temps on the 4060 better. I'm in music production so the new i713700 would be better in single core than the 12700 on the helios 300, so that's better for me. @@circafreya7626 hello i am experencing the same problem overclocking and downvolt are disabled, but changing tdp is allowed. You can either edit tdp in XTU, or try to edit cpu performance in windows power management. The truth is, most games does not need a 4-4.5ghz, 55w - 85w cpu. For rtx4050 and 4060, and even 4070, a 35w - 45w, 3-3.5ghz cpu is enough.
Another option is go to registry and open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7
find attribute value and change to 2, reboot. Then you can see some advanced options in your power plan such as: turbo boost option, max cpu performance, etc.
You can manually create your own power plan, try to limit the cpu p core to 3.5ghz, or even 2.7ghz for most games. I understand that your cpu is limited, but this can keep your cpu under 65c during gaming, with no performanec lost.

Yes it looks blurry because the native resolution of laptop's display is 1600p

Blue light filtering also important, in 2 other chinese laptops I'm considering, they all have DC dimming and blue light filtering of the backlight.

I'm deciding between helios 300 (2022) 3070ti, and helios neo 16 4060. Almost same price at best buy (1300 and 1350 u$d)
I don't really mind if 3070ti gets 10more fps, i'm a casual gamer. But i like the temps on the 4060 better. I'm in music production so the new i713700 would be better in single core than the 12700 on the helios 300, so that's better for me. And also the neo 16 has a 16:10 panel with 500nitswith i think the same color accuracy as the h300

@@PCSupportGamingTestwell i have a cooler and my temps are 80 on fortnite. i think afterburner doesnt have accurate readings at all. either that or its predator sense not having accurate temps. but my temps for fortnite on high settings at 1080p shoot up to 80. i dont know what the issue is at all.
