    I remember one of your tools being used at my last job, when the art department would cut paper covered foamboard for picture mats. Nice V-groover too, otherwise you might use a trim router with a 45 deg. bit on it!

    The rabbet cutter was not in the video but it is in the photos of all the tools together - it has been discontinued. Does anyone know why?
    And does anyone know where I could get one? I can’t find them anywhere, even on eBay

    • @LoganGraphic

      We discontinued the rabbit cutter due to raw materials costs and the lack of sales.

    BEWARE when purchasing the the WD-8011 Hole drill.
    The tool seems to be no longer supported, they do not do the replacement drill bits now.
    So it will be a throw away tool once the bits are blunt

      Hello, Please call us and we can get replacement drills if needed. We stopped selling replacement drills packaged separately as the were not selling. If the tool is used properly on standard foam board only with foam board underlayment only under the foam you are cutting, the drills should not become dull. You cannot use anything but scrap foam underneath and definitely not use the self healing vinyl mat material that will dull the drills. Call us at 847-526-5515 for more info or to order more drills. Thanks.

    Can I use a cutting mat under my foam board while cutting? or does it have to be a scrap foam board?

    • @LoganGraphic
      @LoganGraphic  8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      +Amgad Salem
      You must use scrap foam board only. Using a rubber self healing cutting mat is far too dense and will dull the blade and possibly over stress the tool. The best suggestion is to dedicate a large piece of foam board as the underlayment and tape it in place. When it gets completely cut up, flip it over and use the other side until it needs replacing.

    Nice demonstration video. Would this product be ideal for high density eva foam? Up to 10mm? Thank you.

      @LoganGraphic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for your question. The WA8001 Circle Cutter, W2001 V-Groover, WC6001 Straight cutter, and WD8011 Hole Drills will cut high density eva foam of 10mm. Please visit our website at www.logangraphic.com for more details.

    Nice presentation, I need something for cutting out templates. Any suggestions? Thank you.

    • @LoganGraphic
      @LoganGraphic  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My best suggestion would be to use the Freestyle Cutter to cut out pre-traced shapes so long as your material is 3/16" ( 5 mm) or less in thickness. Make sure you always use scrap foamboard as underlayment. I hope that helps, thanks.

    Will the 6010 cutter also allow a sort of freestyle? I want to cut curves in a 20mm depth foamboard (two 10mm glued together), and I understand the 6020 will only cut to a depth of 5mm (or 3/16")

    • @LoganGraphic
      @LoganGraphic  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +da5idnz
      The WC6010 FoamWerks Straight/Bevel Cutter is primarily designed for 90 degree straight or 45 degree bevel cuts that are in a straight line running the tool along a straight edge or the W3001 FoamWerks Channel Rail. It will cut up to 3/16" or 5mm standard foam board. I think trying to turn a radius with this tool while cutting foam board may allow the blade to flex from the stress and not give you a very even cut. You would be better off to use the WB6020 FoamWerks Freestyle Cutter although that has a limit of 3/16" or 5mm standard foam board also. Hope that helps.

    Recently i got a full set but cant fix board depth pin of circle cutter.my blade remaing on highest point so i cant place it on point...what to do?

    • @LoganGraphic
      @LoganGraphic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello, The pin on the FoamWerks Circle Cutter automatically retracts as you turn the handle crank clockwise to use the tool. Make sure you can freely turn the crank handle so blade blade threads it's way all the way down through the foamboard and just slightly into the foam underlayment. If you have more issues, please email us at cs@logangraphic.com

    Is that can work to a sintra board? Or only for foamboard can work?

    • @LoganGraphic

      Hello. Sintra is a PVC substrate and far too dense for these blades. FoamWerks are used primarily on standard foam board so unfortunately no. Thanks.

    • @LoganGraphic

      Hello, No so long as the blade is sharp, it will not tear the outside paper on standard foam board.

    Can these be used with XPS foam or would that cause any sort of issue?

    • @LoganGraphic
      @LoganGraphic  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, I believe XPS foam is like an insulation board,. That might be too dense and crumbly for these tools. The FoamWerks line was designed primarily for use on regular foam board. You could get one of the tools and experiment. Thanks.

    • @LoganGraphic

      Hi,
      That helps when making straight cuts as it guides the cutting tool in a perfectly straight line.

      Hello,
      We have no resellers or dealers in your area that I know of so I would suggest you search online for a dealer that will ship to you. Possible that Amazon would ship to your location.

    Does it only do one kind of bevel (inward or outward)?

    • @LoganGraphic
      @LoganGraphic  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. Our FoamWerks bevel cutter will do a 45 degree cut either direction you choose by either pulling or pushing it along a suitable straight edge. At the moment we do not have an adjustable angle bevel cutter. Thanks.
