  • Located 56 storeys up from the heart of the Marina Bay area, the SkyPark Observation Deck boasts scenic views of the panoramic vistas of Marina Bay and Singapore’s world-class cityscape. Take in a bird’s-eye view of Gardens by the Bay and the impressive Supertree Grove, or admire the sea view that stretches from Marina South Pier to the Singapore Strait.
From above, try your hand at spotting Singapore’s iconic landmarks. Look out for the capsules on the Singapore Flyer and the durian-shaped domes of the Esplanade - or the Merlion statue, another major tourist attraction in Singapore. Be sure to also keep an eye out for the orange-tiled roofs of the shophouses along the Singapore River.
If you’re a guest of the Hotel, take a luxurious dip in the Infinity Pool - the iconic rooftop Singapore pool, which offers spectacular views of the city at sunset. After, head down to the Event Plaza to catch Spectra, the free outdoor light and water show that takes place nightly on the Waterfront Promenade.
Located in the central area of Singapore, Marina Bay is a treasure trove of activities for both tourists and locals alike, with iconic attractions such as the Merlion, the three towers that form Marina Bay Sands (MBS) and the ArtScience Museum
Supertree Observatory, in addition to OCBC Skyway, provides greater accessibility for visitors to enjoy scenic views of the Marina Bay area and the lush surroundings of Gardens by the Bay.
The Supertrees play vital functions in the Garden. One acts as an air exhaust (similar to the ecological functions of real trees) for the two conservatories; 11 have solar photovoltaic cells embedded into their canopies for the harvesting of solar energy.
Make your way to the mountain’s peak. Take a closer look at unusual vegetation native to cloud forest habitats, typically found at some 2,000 metres above sea level. Look out for carnivorous plants such as pitcher plants and Venus Flytraps set against a verdant carpet of delicate ferns and mosses - all while enjoying spectacular views of the Marina Bay waterfront.
Gardens by the Bay is an independent organisation responsible for developing and managing one of Asia’s foremost garden destinations.
The Gardens is led by a multidisciplinary team of professionals who have been involved in the greening of Singapore and had worked alongside international and local experts to develop the Gardens. It has an in-house team of skilled landscape designers, horticulturists, arborists, engineers, plant health, garden and turf management experts, as well as plant research and orchid breeding professionals, who leverage on the extensive global network of plant sources cultivated during the development days, to continuously curate and grow the Gardens.
A national garden and premier horticultural attraction for local and international visitors, Gardens by the Bay is a showpiece of horticulture and garden artistry that presents the plant kingdom in a whole new way, entertaining while educating visitors with plants seldom seen in this part of the world, ranging from species in cool, temperate climates to tropical forests and habitats.

Hi Raj, Since you only have 1 day to explore, I would suggest you to travel in Taxi instead of Metro...The taxi from Hotel Boss to Marina Bay Sand hotel or Garden By Bay will cost between SGD 9 to 13 and will take only 12 mins. I would suggest to visit Garden Bay Bay/ OCBC SKYWAY first. Try to reach SKYWAY by 1 PM, finish everything by 3pm, then go straight to Marina Bay Sands Observation deck, try to reach deck before 5 PM, so that you can enjoy sunset. After this, I would suggest you to watch Fountain & Light Show which happens daily at 8 PM, near APPLE store...Leave from Marina Bay area around 830, and take Taxi from Marina Bay Hotel to Clarke Quay, again it will take around SGD 10 and 10 mins to reach. You will reach Clarke Quay before 9 pm, have dinner, explore Clarke Quay, etc....Additionally, you can also visit Famous Merlion Statue, which is at Raffle Place. For this, you can take taxi from Marina Bay Hotel to Merlion Statue, again it would be less then SGD 10, and from Merlion you can take Taxi for Clarke Quay....Overall you will spend around SGD 50 in travelling, whereas the Metro will cost SGD 10- 15...But you will save lot of time & energy while travelling in Taxi...Hope this helps

    Very nice and informative video!!
Wanted to ask what is the best time to visit the sky deck to get both day and night views? Also is there a timed ticket there for only one hour?

HI Arrant, there is no time limit, hence I will advise you to reach Marina Bay Sands Deck by 530 Pm and stay there until 715 pm. By doing this you will enjoy evening + night view. Just make sure to reach Marina Bay Sand Entry by 5 pm, because generally it takes 30 mins to reach on deck due to long queue at entry gate. Hope this helps.
