To correct some of your misconceptions about Singapore. One is allowed to chew gum provided it’s disposed off probably. You only cannot sell gum in Singapore. You can bring in some for your own consumption. Fine for singing? While I’m posting this my opposite neighbor is having a karaoke session in his house. Busking is allowed under license. This is to make sure the person is up to standard. You missed the hawker centers. The weather will be cooler during the north east monsoon which is from November to March. Hope your enjoyed your sojourn in Singapore.
Thanks for enjoying my homeland Singapore. You 2 should come for a longer trip and get to experience the real Singapore, there’s so much more to offer and see. And don’t forget there’s so much of food variations to choose from! Hope to see you 2 again soon ❤
Wow... they arranged a lion dance welcome for the ship! Welcome to Singapore! You had bubble milk tea (bubbles are made of tapioca) and polar sugar rolls(most likely) . Yes , it's really humid and hot , even for us. Fortunately , transportation is easy with MRT and buses. Please do return and do a 5 -day stay so that you can experience our true local food and culture and zoo /bird park/night safari. Enjoyed your videos! Wishing you both a safe travel!
@@innerlight10 thank you so much! Loved loved loved your country! It’s a lonnnnnng way from home so it’s diff to come back but we want to!! It’s on the list for sure!
I love when you both do snack time! So fun! Roy gets best comment…that’s would be really good with milk…really good with milk…On its own…it needs milk. 😂😂😂
FYI, u dont get fine for chewing gum in SG. But it's illegal selling gum. And u also dont get fine singing in public in SG. Anyway, hope u had fun in SG and welcome back back again.
Hopefully you get to spend more time to visit more local places next time. Those looks like snacks from Japan, they are not local. There are a lot of misconceptions about the laws in Singapore. A lot of them were set up during the early years as then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew was trying to clean up the country quickly to what is now a developed nation. A lot of them now serves as a deterrence. It does keeps the country clean and safe to live in.
We would LOVVVE to come back! We enjoyed every step running around for 5 hours! It was so beautiful, so clean, so fun! I really wanted to eat my way back to the ship so we’ll dedicate a full day to just that! Thank you for watching! I appreciate you!
Not really. Hard liquor they will hold in the hull for us until disembark but we can bring as many bottles of wine as we can hold in our cabin. No live plants but live flowers are ok. No extra people :) THANK YOU for joining the journey! I love having you along!
@@CheeKiongYip-c3x had the hawker food on my list until I realized my map was a driving map instead of a foot map 🤦🏼♀️ def want to come to STAY !!! Thank you for sharing your incredible country with us!!
Singing in public is not illegal. Probably if the singer sounds sooo horrible and cause public annoyance that someone makes a complain about that. Even the police will just warn the singer to just shut up.
Belated Welcome to Singapore! Come back for more please…especially some of our more unique local experiences, not least our many cuisines. BTW we do have many laws (and fines) but only for people who choose to blatantly break laws. Otherwise, our government is no way draconian, and I’m guessing that in your 5-hours on our shores, you neither saw any policemen nor heard any police siren.
YESSSS! We so wanted to EAT but just didnt have time!! I have heard that about the specific laws and you are right... I don't recall hearing ANY sirens! LOVED LOVED LOVED Singapore! Thank you for sharing your beautiful country with us!
Everyone make fun of Singapore's gum law & get it wrong. You can chew gum but sales of gum is banned. But we can drink in public. Americans can't. What a weird law in the US
@pointmysoulnorth 2 official gums sold in pharmacies. Dental and nicotine. You buy gum from overseas. Nearest is in Johor Malaysia where many cross over for cheaper groceries, petrol etc.
