Who cares about cheating in solo play when you're just building stuff? This is about the design, and demonstrating it's functionality. I don't want to watch days of grinding materials to build something like this :P
Basically got this game for one reason, the building mechanics, have since spent about 20hrs over three days building, no way would I be bothered grinding for weeks, that’s what the admin panel is for haha
It’s pretty moronic that people would have a problem with admin mode and cheats in a single player game. its the exact same thing as screwing around in mine craft or GTA and a pretty good way to practice your combat, tactics, and base building.
I am curious how this would look in the new building designs, if we can get a sinister black pyramid of Set going, and if you can fit a Temple of Set within. Also, I would set a level 2 or 3 fighter on either side of your choke points just in case you get multiple groups and to slow down mobs for the archers.
As pretty much a new player, this was awesome! It was great seeing some higher level footage, an awesome base, good tips... Really excited to get back into this game now! Annnnnnnnd subscribed!
This was pretty cool. I'm JUST getting into this game (finally). Wondering why the locusts don't move into the trench behind the palisade? Is it beause they are too big? What about human sized purgers? Would they be able to swarm into the trench? Very cool!

You can also build a wall from foundations, 2 slots up, put palisades around and add archers on the wall. This is a nice pyramid but it's a bit complicated for new players.
Mobs do not jump, so a raised / elevated foundation is an excellent escape. If you didn't have those satellite island foundations, you wouldn't have to pull the purge. That ring of foundations and Wall Palisade (wall of spikes), I think prevented the purge from spawning inside your base. The ring of Wall Palisade would have been the outer most wall, so a purge may have spawned in the meat grinder. Rather than inside of the pyramid. The purge will attack foundations first. So all foundations must be in sight of archers. A chest with replacement fighters and gear, should be high and back from the meat grinder to replace losses after each wave. I think your archers were 1 or two levels to high and far back. Good luck with the stream and enjoy C.E.

Build my first base in the style of a Native American cliffside dwelling full of workshops, wonder how it would stand up to a purge. Know I don’t have nearly enough guards but it’s pretty hard to reach unless they spawn right on top of it.

I literally built my base the exact same way (well not the exact same way mines way smaller, and instead of a defense tower it's just a bunker, I burried myself within two layers of foundation, with the slopes on top of that lol) with the palisades and everything before even seeing this. I figured a pyramid is the way to go, they're just so much more structurely sound than a base with maybe only 1 or two walls. The main difference is mines on a cliff so only the front is exposed and the palisades have no gaps I placed it smack in the middle of my doorway, works great.
PvP bases are in an odd spot because any weapon can damage doors. most people I have seen build high and not out. think of skyscrapers with lots of doors and things to stop you from climbing. But it also has to do with how good you are at pvp. If you can't kill other players they could just camp out or make a treb. You can place mines under foundation or make other common traps.
Killing other players are very hard, they run like rabbits when did not have upper hands. they shot you when you are trying to escape. some of they i doubt used cheating tools.

i dont get the thing with the "you are cheating". since you spawn in units, i guess its your server and you are the admin. is there no no_clip for the admin ingame?

No idea. Made this when purge was in testlive version. In other words, before purge was even in conan. And i havent played this game for years. Cool to see people still playing conan though. Hope you enjoy all the 3.0 stuff!

What admin command lets you build building without crafting them? I noticed the numbers at the bottom are not changing when you place stuff. Or is that a mod?

How are you healing through the poison damage? Any time I try to heal through poison or bleeding, it stops my regeneration effect.

Spears look pretty good. I tried them once and wasn't super impressed but you have a good strategy for them.

If you're on solo u can build it easy but pvp or pve-c . Forget it. It will take u days

Clearly this would take a ton of resources, but the design is very cool and seemed to work well nice job.
How do you put the corners in? That game is just not letting me, it wont snap to the place or it won't rotate the right way. Im playing on ps4.
I did that too. It's the wrong piece. I was placing a roof cap thing whatever. Theres another cor er piece that will snap
