International Chinese Student don't really hang around Chinese American. They are usually with their group of friends who are also International Chinese Students. They usually stick with their 120,000 International Chinese Student.

@@朋友信之They don't hang out with foreigners and International Chinese Student are not their type of people in America. International Chinese Student are only in America for college and university and to study to get a degree. Chinese from China purpose of going to the US is to get rich quick and go back to China.

@@朋友信之 Join a meetup group for Asians or Chinese. My experience is a lot of different variety of Chinese from International students to ABCs. I met my spouse as someone who grew up here, but in a Chinatown and she was an international student.

To be fair, when I studied abroad in Hong Kong, Americans just hanged out with other Americans etc, Japanese hanged around other Japanese and ABCs hanged out with other ABCs. And when I studied abroad in Denmark, this phenomenon also happened as well. People just like to hang out with people who are similar to them cuz it is easier to make friends.

A few comments said these students are dumb. That is insult. If they're dumb, they won't go to college to study computer science, electrical engineer, film, or science major. Science and engineering school are not easy that dumb people can go and finish it. It requires a lot of math. They're not dumb. They need to think before they answer the question.

Just want to say that Maths is considered the easist subject for Chinese students, they choose Science and Engineering simply because they are good at them. Chinese choose Maths and CS just like the Brits choose Psychology and Sociology during college (when they don't know what to choose, normally end up with these two subjects).

I went to Chengdu in September 2024. I love Chengdu, it is such a beautiful and wonderful place. People are so chill, cool and so friendly. All these foreigners, they have no clue at all about China or much less about Chengdu. Do not be afraid to show how beautiful, modern, high tech, advanced, safe and lovely Chengdu is. And yes, it is super ancient too. How clean and green, how everything is so organized and managed but still so cool and chill. I'm looking forward to my next visit to beautiful Chengdu.

@朋友信之 I understand you'll must be nervous, probably your first time. This has nothing to do with nervousness. Next time when you're having a general conversation with people, pay attention to their um,um, and like, like. These are habits that people don't realize themselves. It is very unpleasant to have a conversation, and it also make them look shallow. This is not a criticism, but just an awareness. I will not hire a person in my company if, during a job interview, the candidate is talking like that. Be positive and feel confident when you talk. Adding in all the um,um, and like, like show that the person is guessing a lot. Okay, I hope that makes sense. Good luck, and continue doing what you're doing best for your channel.
