Hey Mike, excellent video! Learned a lot. I just crawled out from under my NV4500 that I recently swapped it. Was having engagement issues and it took me a while to consider the pivot ball placement. Wish I would have seen this first. Luckily since it's a GM unit I can reach in through the fork window to adjust.

I had that problem, did what Mike said and the fork setup is correct now. I recommend the adjustable pivot ball.

Do you happen to know how far the pivot ball was from the pressure plate? I'm at 7/8 to the back of the head.. and having clutch disengage problems

Very good video, I learned a good deal. My problem is, I can not find the part that is supposed to be the engine side Z bar mount for my 64 Ford Galaxie with 385 series 460 and Top Loader trans. I bought Buds Classic Cars Z Bar kit, but it doesn't have the correct engine side mount. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi Mike, I have a F5 cobra 351w. My clutch pedal is hard, I've replaced my through out bearing twice. Buy watching your video I guess my pivet ball is too short. How or what do I measure so I get t right pivet ball. Thanks, really good video by the way.

I have an issue that's weird. When my engine is off, I can shift into any gear easily, but once it's running, I not only cannot get into any gear, but I don't even hear any grinding noise or anything, can you help with some input, thank you?

Can you replace the fork and pivot ball without removing transmission?

Can it be that my clutch can’t come back enough because my pivot ball is too long causing a grinding sound when releasing the clutch

So I'm having an issue getting my pivot stud out. I've tried a long wench and it's just too tight. So I bought a deep well socket and it isn't deep enough. What do I use?
