So happy it’s back! My favourite loco!!!!!
I love how the whistle is how it used to be. I never liked the whistle change in 2022
Awesome catch!!
Looking forward to chasing it myself at some stage!
Yes should be doing some great stuff soon!
That's pretty cool. I love how they have to have a flashing light on the front of the engine - that literally makes no difference to its visibility. Surely you can't miss an engine as big as that! Great video! Thank you.
You would be surprised what the road users miss I'm afraid!
Ohh yes the Duke is back! Love the whistle too has always been my favourite
My favourite whistle too!
Fantastic ! I've spent many hours on the The Duke when he was based at dry creek in the early 80s'. Great to see 621 running again
It was wonderful, I had really missed 621.
That 6 Chime sounds a lot different from 2022 because it was sounding high pitched.
Maybe it sounds diffrent in the video but it actually sounded very familiar during the chase.
@@AM22trainsandthings You must be right.
Some good news! All three steam locos should be going at rail fest! Also could I please use a shot from this video 6:38 for a welcome back video?
Yes you can but I would appreciate it if you could credit it as my image and put the link to my video th-cam.com/video/yXLiDLYiUng/w-d-xo.html
Thanks!
@@AM22trainsandthings Yep I will thanks! Ill send u the video link when it is done :D
@@maxhighet4447 I'd like to see that
Great locomotive and a great restoration. Just please get rid of any reference to the Royal family. Name it after a Railwayman.
That's the name of the loccomotive though.
No worries mate! Let's just politicise everything now, I cannot believe you typed that. What these locomotives represent is far beyond any political view you or anyone else has. This locomotive is THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH!
Duke of Dork would be more appropriate
