J549 steam trial to Maldon

08/05/2024 - 497 days after J549 was with withdrawn from service for a major overhaul, today it ran a steam test with Y133 in tow to Maldon

That's not much of a load, Y's don't have dynamic brakes - my bad perhaps it was there to recue it just in case.

This was just a steam trial. The load trial was the next day with the Y and full passenger load.
