Me too had a dream this song was playing in my dream and i woke up thinking of movies I could’ve heard it it in thought of don’t tell mom the babysitters dead
it was an awesome day..laura and Cameron...all those red petals we plucked...nicest folks I ever did work with...and the wrap party was epic...will love these two forever...
Christina Applegate may not of wrote this butt the movie version of this song is more upbeat late 80's early 90's although I love this guy from valley girls i wish he sung the movie version too much guitar soo yes Christina Applegate does gotta lott too do with this song they played it twice n the movie the song fitts well with her I'm sure the people who did the soundtrack hadd her n mind IM VERY SURE OF THAT a man n the 70s sung it first soo yeah they hadd her n mind for the 90's movie version for sure soo she has everything too do with the movie verson buddy
Not the version from "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead." I've been looking for that song for like two hours. "Beat Goes Bang" sang that song, and this guy was not part of that band. They're similar, and both came out in 1991 -- so I guess that's where the confusion comes from. This dude was in "The Last Starfighter," though. And married Laura San Giacomo.
Matt Adler that’s who’s she married too….took time for brain to remember but yes you were correct as well she was married to him too so epic win on you’re part.
I like this version of the song but this guy Cameron Whatever is a complete insecure mess with no effort in being an entertainer. He doesn't dance, he doesn't do anything but stand there & put his arms over his head. When he's shirtless he just uses his arms to cover his upper body. That's just odd from a person performing a song. Everything he does is lackadaisical like "What are we doing here again? Oh yeah, I'm singing a song thats not even mine to begin with I'm performing a cover so I'm just gonna let it all hang out. No regrets, one life baby, here we go!!Whats it called again? My dog Sam eats purple flowers?. Got it..... I think."
I love this song great version and Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's dead brought me here.

Way more upbeat. But still and all thank you " Tommy James" for the song.
If you speed up the video just a bit, it sounds a lot better.
