Something I found out, that has a pretty big impact, and you are doing it as well in this video is bodyblocking after the dash. You stun the enemy with your E and immediately walk to the other side of him to bodyblock him from escaping. The stun duration is exactly enough for you to walk around him.
Modifying outgoing damage from the source and incoming for the target would stack multiplicatively and not additively. This is really good for effects that increase damage but worse for effects that reduce it. Basically if you reduce enemy outgoing damage by 40%, they are now dealing 60% of their normal damage, and that number is what is used to calculate the reduction provided by the armor, not the original number. The damage reduced by the armor is therefore 40% of whatever 60% of the original damage is, which is only a 24% of the original damage. So combining 40% damage reduction and 40 armor means your opponent deals 36% of their original damage. So it's not quite as low as 20% damage, but still really strong of course.
Blaze W is one of the most underrated abilities in the game. No one knows why they are slowed and can't auto attack until after they have been melted to a crisp with big boy blaze
It always feels good when you are tanking to stabilize the game, it feels even better when you are tanking and your allies are rewarding your small, yet impactful plays.
Great guide! I'm basically a Blaze main, he's one of my favorite heroes. I wanted to ask you what your take on the level 1 shield talent is. I noticed through testing that you become insanely tanky if you take this + the other talents you chose. You can bait enemies into overextending and thinking they can kill you, but If you reduce their damage + activate pyromania + lv1 shield, you can be Garrosh-thrown into 5 enemies, press all buttons and just walk away, or maybe even use bunker (if they don't have big follow up cc). This makes blaze imo the tankiest hero in the game that can just brute force tank any burst damage.
I have tried all the other lvl 1 talents and I personally can't get any of them to work as good as the lvl 1 I picked in this video. I'm not at all saying that they are bad, just that I like the unstoppable and CDR more than any other talent there. Blaze really is a blast to play though. I am often the Garrosh player thinking that it's okay to throw the blaze into my backline and then getting flamed for delivering the grim reaper to our doorstep haha
I'm really glad you like them!! I've done almost every tank so if you want to watch more just go to my playlists and find the "How To Tank" playlist. You can also just take this link to go right to the Mei video. th-cam.com/video/w8K4EE_PYi8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Qpfb44hbN_y6_2kc

That is an excellent point and one I wish I would have mentioned in the video. Thank you for bringing it up here!!
This game is dead why does this guy make content about it 🤣
@@kyuzo26I got addicted at a young age... but I can quit whenever I want

That makes sense. Still an insane amount of damage reduction. Thank you for your insight :)

Thanks Wub for another fantastic explanation video. Love these 'How To' games.
I have nearly finished recording all the "How To Tank" videos. I will probably move onto bruiser next. I've really enjoyed making them!
That felt like a stomp but also you were able to really show case blaze. Great video

These videos are good, those videos with multiple people talking is thrash.
skip the intro. Also, intro music louder than mic.
