Bonnie and John They have a close friendship that perhaps in other circumstances would have been a very compatible couple. I can imagine Bonnie's regret when she learned of John's death.
You know what's hilarious about this? She's on his ass because he owes $15 for the doctor bill, but just casually hands him a $150 rifle and says, "Keep it." Girl, please. If you want that gunslinging ass, just say so.😂
1:19 The way John looks kind of shy and embarrassed about not wearing his hat when he was trying to polite really suits his character. I never thought I would see that from John, though.
And look at RDR2, only 8 years later. Utterly nothing in terms of modern human history. We skyrocketed so much in graphics tech in the past 20 years. Each generation is visibly better than the previous
The story hooked me but the missions became too tedious to bear. Such a shame because it deflates from an otherwise great game. The strength of the Red Dead games are the detailed open world and the story. Two things that are hard to connect together without inserting obligatory, tedious hand-holding on the rails “missions” that have you following GPS to a set location and just going through the motions. I don’t even know what the solution is because there’s such a huge chasm between open world game design and the linear scripted stuff🤷🏻♂️ I think it’s why I enjoyed side quests, bounty hunting, legendary animals and even fishing. It just feels more interactive with the in-game environment instead of “go here, exactly here, otherwise MISSION FAILED” 😂

In other words: when sequels are better than their predecessors, it’s very noticeable when you go back and replay them. Gallop beside someone, blah blah blah, pew pew pew, rinse and repeat. That being said: the dialogue is perfect in RDR1 just as it is. The cadence, rhythm, and delivery of every line can’t be replicated. They tried that with “The Twin Snakes” and it was abysmal

Hopefully they'll remake RDR1 with the same level of graphics they made RDR2 with, and add in the cinematic camera feature we saw in the 2nd game.
